Of course :-)

More than Welcome!

We still need two more chaos players though!
I'll hunt some down!

I live down in Torquay so it wouldn't be hard for to me make it up there but to be honest, i think i'd be totally out of my depth actually playing as I've only just got into EA. Are spectators allowed? I don't mind buying a ticket like eveyone else. That way I could pick up some experience and see how you guys play this at competition level and get to meet some of thr guys from the forum at the same time!

Hi Kriegsspiel,

Sure thing, spectators and people who would like to come down for a few hours to see what all the fuss is about are more than welcome.

In other news..., we've only got one more ticket left which I'll be frantically trying to sell over the next few weeks and the rulespack is in the making as I type: these will be emailed to all entrants and posted as a download link here.

Work will be underway with scenery and the map is ready for the printers: teaser shots will be provided...

Epic: it's being dunked in rubber as we speak! At least in my mind: you're buildings are going to form a few city blocks me thinks :-)

In other news the Rulespack is now finished: being tested by the rest of the BSS team and then released on Monday; so you should all have some nice post-work blues lifting goodness to read come then :-)

Rulespack can't be uploaded here at the moment...most odd!

If you don't need to join then you should be able to download the book from Cut and Thrust:

So, how are people's armies for this going? I'm busy trying to make my LatD Khorne Kult more playable and, to wit, have just pulled out a good 30+ Chaos Minotaurs and Space Trolls (tm) to act as drug crazed zombified teleporting big mutants to leap forth from the gutters of the streets and move a whole 10cm towards my opponent...woopie!

Reckon my army is something like:

Transported Coven +flak
Transported Coven +flak
Transported Coven +flak
Supreme Commander Coven
Coven
Zombies
Zombies
Lord of Battle BTS
Rough Riders (juggernaughts)
Rough Riders
Artillery
Doom Cannons

And the artillery are being converted from Mk1 bombars as we speak :-)

You?

My vanaheim are coming along alright. Well getting there.

Currently my force is found over in the ToEG

Might have a bit of a shuffle round of the units for this event.

Hello all,

This is a call for help! Bristol Summer Sizzler is looking to be a great event, We have all the Imperial Slots filled and two Chaos Slots filled by people that we are able to lend spare armies to: unfortunately we are currently looking at a possible drop out in the Chaos forces and we still have one space: we'd be 2 chaos places down in the worst case! If this is the case then we will have to ask an Imperial Player to turn traitor but we REALLY don't want to do this: 7 players per side is what's making the event financially available: we can even offer to give the last ticket away for FREE and still work the event...in fact we've tried but there were no takers!

If you know of anyone who would you think might even be remotely interested please let them know about this event, running it successfully means that we can offer further campaigns like it at a slightly reduced cost in the future.

Yes, it's not you're usual tournament gaming but it is very similar (3k lists) and promises to be a lot of fun! All we need are 1 or two people with Chaos/Traitorous Guard armies to turn up on the weekend of the 18th and 19th. So, if you or someone you know would like to attend: FOR FREE, then please please get in touch!

Trains booked early can make a cheap journey if you live near enough (London) and if you're travelling from afar decent over night accommodation can be had for as little as 14 quid.

Yrs,
Ryan

In the meantime: Rulespacks are on the way to most people but RL has once again harrased me and so will have to wait for now!

Rulespack was posted today but is now also here:

Due to last minute printer problems each pack is currently missing the permitted army lists section. This is the last page in the above PDF: please make sure you're army is based on one of these!

Dice rolling nears!

MoK, got the rulespack in the post today, just checking with you that it is the same for both sides, (I assume it is as you just posted a single PDF) as the A5 flyer in mine says 'Dear Imperial Player' and im Chaos (dont want to read thiers if im not meant to know 'secrets')

Looking forward to the campaign, Nat
