With any luck that score line will be something like the result for our game too on the Sunday afternoon :P
We'll see.

4k of Necrons - I'd say it depends on the number of Pylons that Mark can field, anything over two and my list could be in serious trouble.

4k of Krieg, someone is being a 'naughty boy', Richard? Almost wishing that I had gone with my Warlock toting Yme-Loc list, however it was crushed by Tom's Dark Eldar in a practise game and I haven't had the chance to bottom out my tactics with them yet.

It's not too bad, basically my 3k list with a unit of deathriders, another warhound, and a tank platoon :)

So like me you've run out of gorgans and infantry to add two more formations into the list ;)

Pretty much ;)

I did however want to try out the 12 man unit of deathriders, and the tanks do add a nice bit of ranged punch to what's primarily an assault list too. And can you really go wrong with another warhound in a guard list? i think not :)

Coming late to the discussion, but hey....

AFAIK, no one else has either, certainly not in a tournament

I took a Cobra and Storm Serpent as a pair in my Iyanden list at FSA. At 4k I think that would work quite well.

I missed the boat on army list guessing... but I'll throw my rankings into the mix, if slightly late:
1 Joe
2 Richard
3 Tim
4 Dave
5 Mark
6 Simon
7 Chris
8 Gavin

Looking forward to next weekend, must get round to painting.

Does anyone want to play some games on Friday afternoon?

Was wondering if anyone wanted to try out a scenario I've written? Quite a departure from the standard GT scenario.

I'll be trying to get free in the afternoon for a test game and I'm sure Dave said that he'd be early too.

I should be there fairly early too (pending traffic on the long drive north)

I'm driving up for the first time so not sure what time I'll arrive. And generally I don't tend to play epic in the afternoon before the madness begins.

It doesn't. True table top game, once you start there is no resetting so game gets very dynamic once a goal is scored.

Alternate activation rather than IGOYGO and an easy to learn dice mechanic.

Hi, just tripped on this scenarion by accident and i love it, looks like a very different game from the standard GT and at the same time its more competitive than most scenarios.

You should spread this scenario to a wider audience.

Wishes of great Epic games to all, don´t forget to take photos, or even better, battle reports ;D

Definitely agree - especially as it is such a good looking scenario :)

Thanks for the comments. I am thinking of running a day using this scenario, but at the moment it needs a bit more play testing (just to see if there are any funking corner cases that need thinking about - i.e. the Necron complex and Eldar Webway). Please feel free to give it a go.

Epic time tomorrow. I'll be bringing a few boardgames for casual play if people want too - nothing too long or complex. I'm aiming to arrive by 2/3pm - earlier if I can get out of a meeting in the morning, so would happily join in any Friday afternoon shenanigans.

Rich, you mentioned Warmachine... I could bring my Cygnar army for a game? Dave mentioned trying a game I've not heard of, so that could also work.

See you tomorrow... hopefully finish painting before midnight tonight.
