Andy, Joe just been looking at the trains and there are major delays on the Manchester/London route on Saturday and Sunday.

Worth having a look as its going to be a bit of a mess!

Well I will be driving up on Friday from London (mainly because I will be bringing boxes of terrain and didn't fancy lugging them across London to the station) - - - so I could offer a lift at a stretch if needed.

Your first game on Friday can't start later than 21:00.

Most of us will be arriving mid afternoon for some gaming before begging. I think last year we were all playing by about 19:00 at the latest.

Just remember that the games on Saturday and Sunday start at 08:15!

Well Britcon is over and what a tournament!

We had a tie between current Britcon Champion Matt Arnold and new guy Mark Hargreaves for 1st place!

In the end (don't ask me if it's sports, number of wins or Matt Vs Marks game result) Matt came on top to become the EPIC Britcon Champion for a second year (with two different armies, 2007 with Eldar and 2008 with Orks, though in some cases played in the same style!). Well done Matt!

In 2nd was Mark in his first EPICA tournament (hope to see you at more events!) and 3rd was Joe Jephison (not 2nd ... you're slipping )

A special mention has to go to Kevin Bott, who was voted best EPIC army (though missed out on the 'fantasy trophie' as it was decided by Britcon that the fantasy army nomination should win ... honestly!)

Also a continued thank you to Joe Jephison (of his help on rules) and Gavin McKenzie for all (and I mean All) of the terrain!

I had a great time and am already looking forward to next year!
