I will not search for teams to participate. All active players that know about the EEC has probably seen this thread or heard about it from their friends.
I want to focus on making the event run smooth and to hold a high quality. Hopefully that will attract lots of teams. :-)

a follow up to LargoW's "uneven team number" comment.

It will be difficult to get people to commit for a second team if they do not know whether they can play. They will not book hotels and flights and ask for leave, to be told "sorry you can't play".

I would expect that there is a contingency plan for uneven teams, in case an uneven number of national teams signs up.

Is there any limit that would make the participation of a second team impossible like number of tables, the aforementioned uneven number, etc. ?

I'm sure Sweden can arrange for an extra team in case of there being an uneven number.
As of now though I count 6 teams that have said they want to come.

Denmark (missing one player)
Germany
Germany 2
UK.

Norway and Finland have expressed interest though. So that makes a possible 8. If another country would like in as well then one of the dual teams have to go. We probably need a deadline for countries to commit or what do you think mordoten?

Then lets put the deadline to the 1st of March! That gives people around 12 weeks notice if they can participate or not.

1st of march noted! I had 4 norwegians at one point, but two of them have pulled out and we're back down to potentially 2. I have some hope of finding more, but if Denmark or Finland is looking for assistance we could talk about it in february?
