SQUATS: I'm currently siding with the French Version of the Squats, which feels more refined and has less special rules.
The Thurgrimm's list however is still under development so may benefit from playtesting...

Can i have people's thoughts on the idea of submitting two army lists (detailed earlier at start of thread)? I'm a little unsure about it...

On the plus side it gives some armies (such as Siegers...just siegers?) the oppurtunity to make sure they've actually got a chance of winning an attack game but on the flip side I feel it could easily result in min/maxing to a degree...and part of the point of the event is that a player and their aarmy should be able to handle many given situations...hmm...
It also makes administration easier!

Honestly I'd be quite happy with one list.

I'm fine with one list suiting all. Half the fun of scenarios is trying to pull off a victory against the odds!

I'm fine personally just using one list.

I would also recommend only a single list per player.

For this type of "easy-going" style of Tournament, part of the tactical challenge will be dealing with the possible "FUBAR" nature of a mis-assigned force... perhaps those Siegers are the only force close enough to mount a desperate attack against that seething Chaos horde... poor bounders... *laugh*

Venue Hire covered and paid for; remaing funds towards prizes + awards + tea + coffee + nibbles and finally spare scenery. in that order of importance; I like to be transparent!

On the lists, I am unsure having played some of the scenarios. The main issue lies in mobilitiy and how this impacts the scenario. The obvious example is Siegers (of any description) whose lack of armour and transport would make it virtually impossible for them to advance to assault enemy positions or to act as 'reinforcements' (a 0cm move unit is going to be unable to get onto the table   )

Ok, I understand that participants may need to adapt their lists to cover these kind of situations and can mitigate the issue to some extent, but this obviously has a far greater impact on the more static races, not least because these traits are also reflected in the Strategy rating and initiative and the option to buy fortifications to counteract these weaknesses.

Perhaps an exception of some kind could be made for siege armies? Or we merely state that they must always defend?
Moving onto the table is, in many case (say 'Ambush') a big problem!

Well there is some 0cm move stuff that can be transported / dragged along. By Tractors? But then you still have stuff that simply can't be moved especially fortiifcations?

Now fluff wise a siege army still has to get from a to b, so can be subject to ambush. But what to do with the wasted points on completely static stuff?
