Hi,

I am new to the forum, just got back into playing Epic after a long period away from the game. I am going to look at attending some of these events (well at least one hopefully).

Hi Bellerophon, that's great, new faces are always welcome.

Don't be put off by the fact it's a tournament - it's always a very laid back atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. :smile:

It will be good to get some games in againts different opponents and play styles.
Laid back is always good as I tend to go to events more for the social aspect of the games than the results.

Always useful to pick up some different tactics as well.

Leicester event should be on the 10th october, confirming it tomorrow....

Ok just confirmed with the manager, due to their main focus being M:TG releases and events, (and the sweet cash they make from those) he couldn't book the event in for definite but we agreed it will either be the 10th or 17th of october for definite and I can set it in stone when he confirms when the MTG release is around that time and then tickets can go on sale

it's reasonably firm for the 10th of october, I'm trying to move to a slightly better venue, although Tabletop Tyrant has plenty of 'character', it's not ideal for running an event due to it being a bit cramped, spread across two rooms and having a bunch of sweaty loud MTG players crammed in, I'm looking to move to the Leicester Phat Katz club's venue (the Ukranian Church) but I'm having a total 'mare trying to contact anyone who can book it in....

I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week, will get it sorted and set in stone when I get back mate
