300+ Pounds, Euros or Dollars (or whatever currency) is still a serious commitment together with arranging time off from work / family commitments etc. - and it could be significantly more depending on personal situations, preferences and plans. . . . .

That said, it is a *really* interesting and attractive idea, and I am among those who are *very* interested but unable to make any firm commitments - - - yet.

I know that there are some players out there who are interested, but will not be able to field/join a team for whatever reasons.

We can try to build "regional" teams from you.

I've decided that I'm going to take one for the team.

I'm going to seduce a wealthy Heiress who will supply us with enough money to fund everyone to go to the tournament.

checked the available lists.
While doing so I learned there will be s Tournament pack 2014.
It will take some time yet to be released, but the army lists are already set.

So we will use the armylists from the forthcoming Tournament Pack 2014.
And as long as the new Tournament Pack is not released, we will use the the Rules and FAQ section from the Tournament Pack 2013. The armylists in the Tournament Pack 2013 are to be ignored.

Note that these are only approved lists. Still there is at least one list of the major races, but no squats/Demiurgs and no ATML.

Only read the Eldar list so far but surely there are typos? 4 Eldar Rangers = 200 points and Void Spinner = 250. Void Spinners are 2-3 times better than Rangers but only 50 points more. Must be a mistake?

Seems to be. In the old list Rangers are 100 Points.

I've been told "the lists were already reviewed".

But I agree the Rangers cost looks to high, as MacCall already wrote, twice as expensive as before.

Out of interest, the Latd/Stigmatus/Whatever list is not adapted to the Black Legion summoning tweaks (reduced demon costs and one lesser demon included in pact) probably the wrong thread to bring this up, but does this mean that there are no changes to the Latd 2014?

Yeah I brougt that up in the preview army list thread, but I didn't get any response...

I can't really answer that.
But we should keep in mind, that all lists are "NetEA approved". So they have passed some kind of approval process.
Once approved, soon they will no longer be at the forefront of army list design and they will not be treated and discussed as "newest" list.
What I'm trying to get at is, that it is to be expected, that to anybody who follows the evolution of armylists, those lists will look outdated and that they will most likely not include the latest stats/units/concepts - because the "latest" haven't been approved yet.
If you think there is a typo I'm happy to inquire, but for the why and when any armylist/concept/whatever will or will not be in the tournament pack it would be best to contact Dave directly.

Being looked at is the best answer I can give - whilst not being very helpful I know.
