That's in the works too, but no ;)

And yes, i do have a depressingly large number of projects on at the moment, and not just for Epic!

I'm fairly sure I have stuff bought from Salute before it moved to Olympia that I've done nothing with!

And good luck working out a date from that ;)

FYI -

Quote:

A Message from The British Historical Gaming Society:

We are pleased to confirm that there will now be onsite catering available at this years BHGS Challenge, with the Wheatley Campus Coffee Shop "Eights Coffee Lounge" featuring proper Starbucks bean-to-cup coffee now being open for drinks and snacks throughout the two days of the competition.

Opening hours will be between 8.30 am to 6.30 pm Saturday, and 8.30 am to 2.30pm Sunday.

We hope this new initiative will be warmly welcomed, both by those wargamers who like a decent double shot mocha full-fat soya latte with a dash of caramel syrup and a blueberry muffin on the side ("it counts as one of your five-a-day dontcha know?") before unleashing their first salvo of the day, and also by those who enjoy whingeing about how in the old days at competitions they used to share one Tetleys Tea bag, a broken styrofoam cup and a flask of lukewarm water between 200 wargamers over the course of the weekend and everyone was still grateful, and how "these young wargamers today really don't know that they are born, do they.....".

To get the cafe opened we have however had to commit to a minimum spend each day, which if it is not reached will mean that the BHGS end up incurring additional charges - so please do take advantage of the facilities if you have the opportunity, as it helps make sure we can aford to continue to keep onsite catering open in future years.

I think a consolation Hot chocolate with whipped cream will soothe any game lost myself :D

Sadly they're not ready yet - but i've always got a lot of projects on the boil ;)

They'll hopefully be on the go later in the year, where i'm hopeful i can make a mechanised Ork list that's not speed freeks work!

I'd be intrigued to see your list for that Rich....?

Cheers

Still time to get your tickets, but if those that are signed up could think about getting their lists sent to tournaments@epic-uk.co.uk that would be super :)

Oh, do we have an idea of game times and when the last game for each day should finish? useful to know when commuting! :)

Failed miserably in my quest to get a game in with the army before the event, however i am at least fully painted! And who doesn't love learning on the go? ;)

The only thing that I know is that we are supposed to be booked in by 8:30 on Saturday morning and after that its all in the air. But two games on Sunday should mean that we can get an early start on the way back. I'll need it this time around...

One thing I will say is that as this is a multi system event under the organisation of the BHGS winners will need to hang on for the main prize giving on Sunday, and some of the other systems look to be finishing at 17:00.

So we have wiggle room on Sunday to either have a longer lunch time or start a little later?

If we can stick to the times and get everything away for 4 I might be able to get home before the wife starts divorce proceedings.

But I'll say this the game periods are going to be tight. I think that I should have picked a smaller quicker army to play like Necrons rather than my 200 unit LatD. (Joke ;) )
