That is true!  Any luck getting a job within the company yet? I'm guessing they hired within London eventually!

Yeah I finally picked up a little retail work with them... I'm just hoping that the eventual reference is good enough to help get me the job I really want...   :cool:

It does make a difference - a lot of jobs at Lenton do go to ex-shop staff.
When I was managing the Middlesborough store, I recommended one of my key-timers (Paul Rudge) for a job on WD which he got - we paid for his travel to the interview as well. And one of the guys who managed the store before me got a job in the studio too.
