i just printed out the lists in the EEC zip file and noticed an irregularity with the Tyranids 10.2.1, which it is SUPPOSED to be. The Biovore is missing "Indirect Fire" which it should have. Regardless which version the file in the EEC is, even older versions have this rule. The proposed playtest rules for 10.2.2 does also. Please verfiy the typo :)

Sorry, the "books" - to distinguish them from players' lists - were included to give a fixed set of rules and to prevent any situation like, but it had be, should be, will be. I did select the books for being valid on the day I started preparing the document - if you are disagreeing with a list or it's way of distribution please take it to the list manager. You had a month time before armylist deadline to check the book. I had my team mates check their lists for compatibility with the books for that reason. I assume everyone did especially the players used to Epic UK as not only points cost, but also stats differ on occasion.

By the way the list from the 23 of September has Biovores NOT marked as indirect firing.

You are kidding right?
This is defintly a typo. Biovores HAVE indirect fire as you can clearly see here:

10.2.1 APPROVED http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/ ... 21&t=26853 (2014)
10.2 http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/ ... 21&t=25272 (2013 !!!)
Proposed List 10.2.2: http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/ ... 21&t=26854 (also 2014)

10.2 Dropped the stupid dice mechanics, which were not in the EEC-PDF. You are right, I oversaw "Ind" at the Biovores missing in the summary. EVERYTHING ELSE is identical to 10.2.1 - which is the latest, NetEA Approved list. So please forgive me, but at the moment I am furious for such ignorance over a friggin typo I and as well fredmans overlooked. Biovores are worthless without "Ind", or to phrase it better, far worse than for example a third Harridan as they can't place any markers without beeing seen.

Overall I feel cheated.

Well if it makes you feel any better, i've just noticed a Typo in the Krieg list as well, with the Deathstrike Silo being down as Single Shot rather than Slow to Fire. That'll teach me for going by the official list in the NetEA Tournament pack for stats i suppose...

Heh, if we play each other at the weekend i propose we use the correct rules for both ;)

See that's why I included books in the zip, so nobody comes up with proposed lists and pasts lists.

At the beginning of this project I asked the book champions for what they will propose for this years tournament pack. With Dave's help, I've got a list of "books". It can be found in Dave's aptly named thread "2014 Tournament Pack army list previews".
link http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=27586
In this thread there is a link to a set of pdfs http://www.tp.net-armageddon.org/pdfs/
In this directory there is a link to a tyranid list (newer than the one I use) http://www.tp.net-armageddon.org/pdfs/tyranid-2014-09-23.pdf
And in this list Biovores are still not Indirect firing,

No matter what other lists you find, like, agree or disagree with and regardless of the current state of the 2014 tournament pack lists, the ones in the EEC.zip are used.
And if you feel cheated, because there are rules and them being enforced and because didn't read them, so be it.

Well, it is completely unnecessary to be so stand firm now that not even one game has been played. But so be it, be happy at your high horse and I will play a complete waste of a unit while Richard has basicly a more expensive and weaker deathstrike formation.
Urg, I don't get it why we just can't iron out the typos now. You would be completely right if we had Saturday, but now I don't see the point.

As I also see that negotion is also a waste of time I will just shut up.

At least you didn't bring two units of them. Weird, to say the least.

guys, as far as I can see there is literally nothing stopping you from agreeing this with your opponent in the 5-min pre-game warmup.... Brumbaer should be too busy with his own game to come and force you to direct fire your biovores ;)

As far as I'm concerned biovores have indirect playing against the UK team
