1. On some of the terminology here, when you talk of 'objectives' do you actually mean goals? The reason i ask is because you place 'objective markers' on the table, but you normally win by completing 'goals'. So in effect are the normal 5 victory conditions the same as in the Epic Rulebook for tournaments, or is it actually quite different?
Thanks for pointing that out.
It's goals, as described in the tournament game rules. I'll go through the document to change the wording.

2. On the example results slip, is 'Objectives Lost' effectively your opponent's completed goals? (so if you had a 3-0 victory then your objectives won would be 3 and objectives lost would be 0)
Goals, as described in the tournament game rules

3. On another note, is the game length the same as what we could consider normal? (i.e. you check to see if anyone has the required number of goals from the end of turn 3, and if not you have a turn 4, and if it's still a draw at this point both players roll, and on the same diceroll you get a turn 5, otherwise it goes down to a points draw). All i can see is a note about the game ending when the time for the round runs out.
Sorry I assumed I mentioned that we use the Tournament Game Rules, so there would be only a rule needed in case the time runs out. I'll rephrase that.

4. Finally, do the 'victory points' (i.e. the points for units destroyed and lost) have any impact on anything other than games ending in draws, and therefore do they need to be noted in the case of a game that sees a clear win to one player?
Not for the tournament, but it will give an indication to how the game went. See it as a service to interested parties and statistic freaks.
Edit: Trying to get the quote indentations right
