This came up for me too. I had 1-2 units over out of a company and was told by the esteemed organiser and his hangers on, no thats fine.

I think you know the rules better than the organiser and hangers on, Chris!

I have now, I think in 3? years played 6 games of Epic, all minigeddon, over the space of a week. I couldn't even remember all the victory conditions! :)

That clause needs removing from the Epic-UK docs as that hasn't been played for a long time.

Mark Webster, 2nd place two years in a row.
Ferrao/Hess combo, 5th place two years in a row.

Spooky.

I don't recall having made a ruling about this at the tournament.
However, the ruling would have been that an unbroken formation is able to claim TSNP, regardless of unit count.

Apology to all players for having overlooked this outdated rule in the Epic UK tournament pack.

I am also kindly pointing out to you Chris that you are a representive of the Central London Wargames Club as well and therefore as much a 'hangers on' as everybody else.
Please consider this for future comments about your fellow club mates.

By hangers on I meant all the people hanging around the prizes having finished their turn/game (who agreed with you)! (Sorry, have never mastered internet communication, was not meant to be a denigratory or negative comment - and sure you did say yes tot he question, in line with what you have typed here!)

Separate post, Florian asked if we had any suggestions for Minigeddon lists and I want to suggest the addition of a new core formation to the Vanaheim list for Minigeddon.

250pts
5 Vanaheim Infantry
1 Vanaheim Commander
2 Valkyries
1Vendetta

The explicit vendetta (rather then 3 valks with choice of vendetta) is to prevent cheap 250pt spamming of 6bp, this only allows 4bp to be spammed.

It would add flexibility to the Vanaheim list at this points scale as in the minigeddon format the list has very few options and is contrained to either 3 or 4 formations.

That is a sensible and very thought through suggestion, David.
I see your argument that the current list more or less only allows one build. The formation has been added to the things to playtest for the Minigeddon update.

Amended the Minigeddon page with the Vanaheim changes.

You shall be redeemed. :)
Please be aware that there a many non-native speakers on this forum, myself included.
The dictionary definition of the phrase in question is not very nice.

Ah, I just looked it up. Tis used at work to refer to group of officers who turn up for meetings, the one who is designated to speak and silent masses that will have accompanied them!

Thanks to Ginger, ffoley, elsmore and Scutarii for four really good games, and MrGonzo for organising. The wooden spoon was almost mine!

Will definitely be back next year with something new..
