Is there a link for tickets? I can see separate tickets for Saturday and Sunday but not a single weekend ticket.

Careful - don't do what i did last year and buy an expo ticket and then a tournament ticket (which comes with an expo pass).

I would like to make this one, but its looking increasingly like its going to clash with moving/renovating plans. Will have to see closer to the time.

I'm checking with the BHGS but I'm sure you need a tournament ticket (16 for the two days) and a weekend access ticket.

Or a three day pass if you can spare the Friday off to take a look at all the other good stuff on offer at the Expo.

In 2015 (euros) Steve arranged the tickets as I recall and it included the weekend ticket, he sorted out Friday as an extra £5. But presumably that's because it was not an open registration.

No idea what the system was last year.

This year the BHGS are running the gaming so we are once removed from the Expo guys.

So you will need to buy a tournament ticket for Epic, then at least a weekend access ticket for the expo itself.

How does the team format work? Are we talking multi-player team on team battles or regular games but with the scoring done by team rather than individual?

As last year

Teams will be of 3 players, ideally if one person could buy the 3 tickets for a team that would be great but otherwise could you let me know who is a member of what team when you have signed up. Any single players signing up will be randomly grouped with other singles.

Rules will follow what we used for the Euro Team Championship last year. In addition this will be an Epic UK Championship+Plate event so individual scores will be tallied as with a normal tournament

Each player will play 5 3k games, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. All rounds will be all the members of 1 team vs all the members of another team, for the first round the matchups within teams will be drawn at random after that it will be done on a Swiss basis (for example the SW player with most points plays the SLWG with the most points, the SW with the 2nd most points plays the SLWG with the 2nd most points etc etc). Scoring will be done using the Epic UK scoring table.

For each round the score for the 3 players of a team will be added together and if they score more than the score of the 3 players they were playing the team will receive 20 bonus points.

The final score for each team will be the points scored by each player in the team plus any bonus points.

If we have 6 teams then each team will play each other team once, if we have 8 the first round will be random and then matchups will be determined using the Swiss system.

All terrain will be provided for the event in accordance with the Epic Armageddon rulebook
