Gutted that I can't attend but public transport links to Mansfield make this unrealistic to get to. Weirdly should I be lucky enough to go to the Euros it is actually easier for me to get to Stockholm than Mansfield!

Do people drive past Nottingham , Leicester etc? Would have thought those are easier to get to

They are better - but still take a surprisingly long time and tricky to get to with horrific departure times.

Maybe switching the GT with Britcon or Expo might be an idea for 2016, or having a separate 'Southern GT' instead of Into the Breach? Two separate GTs could lead to a grand final between the two winners which would be exciting and webcam-able.

I have been seriously considering coming along for a while now, I even got the green light from the wife, but work has as usual got in the way! :'(

A shame, as I was looking forward to finally playing the game properly and perhaps learning some of the finer points!

Oh well, Ill have a look at next years events and try to get involved at some point.

Yme-Loc travels from the South West every year via public transport.

Maybe ask him for tips?

If you get the 7:03 train from kings cross to newark northgate (arrives 8:25), I can pick you up and drive you the last 40 minutes. Takes less time for you than it does for me driving.

We had discussed moving a Mansfield event down to Kyuss' Leicester venue but the numbers that came to WOTT don't really make that possible as to offset increased venue costs we would need to be confident of increased numbers of entrants.

Next years calendar will have events in London, Bath, Exeter, Cardiff, Leicester, Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham and Mansfield which I think is a pretty good mix.
