Unfortunately, you can only use approved lists at a EUK tournament.

Squats are on the list though & you could use them as proxy Imperial Guard

Ok, think I'll pass on the ig as probably don't have enough infantry etc. A request for an epic UK squat list from this end then. Happy to help trial/write/etc

+1 on an epic UK squat list.
Also be happy to help out/playtest if the Thurgrimm list is deemed to be a bit far from how a streamlined epic UK list should look.

Looking forward to the tourney ;)

We need Squat Battle reports here on Taccoms to push the list forward. If you can do these then we ger progress.

I have another comittment on Friday whihc means I'll be in no condition to travel or lay on the Saturday. Have a good day guys and try and stop those Northern Raiders.

as discussed with Steve, in an attempt to spread the word and grow the scene, I've created a facebook event page here that you can point your friends at, I've shared it on the big epic facebook groups too...

Does anyone know what parking is like nearby?

(Yes, I fully appreciate the irony of asking this given I just organised an event in Bath where parking is akin to an orienteering exercise at the best of times!)

You'll need to pay the congestion charge too if you're driving all the way.
Do you have to pay on a Saturday now?

The Congestion Charge is an £11.50 daily charge for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.

The good news, as Carlos says, there's no congestion charge on Saturday.

The bad news, there is no on-street parking in the area - it is all residential parking or restricted to 2-4 hours; and Lambeth traffic wardens are 'eager', so I wouldn't risk it (though I expect you can stop outside to load / unload terrain etc)

Car parks are all north of the venue under / beside the elevated track going into Waterloo station, though at a pinch you could possibly use St Thomas Hospital pay & display as well. All are likely to be pricey and roughly 10 mins walk from the venue, which is in one of the arches under the track.

If you want to use this option, use Google to check up "Parking near Hercules road, Lambeth, London" .

Alternatively, travel by tube to Lambeth North (Bakerloo line), cross over the busy junction and walk for ~5 mins down the length of Hercules road to the venue (which is what I shall be doing).
