Though i found that i felt very satisfied when all came together on the day, so keep powering through!
And once everything is set up, it becomes much easier the second time!

One thing I didn't foresee was if/when all goes well and the tournament continues next year....I'm only going to have to compete against myself to try and match prizes/sponsors achieved for this year alone. My initial idea was to start small, but after a while I thought, What the hell! Prizes Galore! 6mm/10mm games and players deserve more credit, recognition and publicity.

Once the tournament starts I'll have to wear a fake moustache, nose and glasses kit to pass myself off as a late entrant player and try and win those prizes myself!

Now tickets have started to sell, part of those sales have gone into buying Plywood, Foamboard and gallons of PVA!! Scenery boards a go-go. The Facebook page will show how things are going so far. Scenery such as trenches, razorwire, bunkers will be made at a later date.

Whilst 6 tickets have been sold already, hoping to get at least 4 more sold before this event can take place. There are at present up to 14 spaces still available.

I'm trying to drum up some support, but its a bit of a tricky time of the year as its holiday season and they work in pubs etc. Might get some last-minute sale if it works with shift patterns etc.

Ah..one thing I have to let you chaps know that arent driving back on the day is that the bar at the venue (Whipton Institute) won't open until 7-7:30...still, good for the awards at the end of the night.
