Can't be played. I am fairly certain there is a core formation that needs to be purchased and place on the board.

Your incessant rules layering is ruining the game Bill!

BLACK LEGION RETINUE - 275

DAEMON POOL - 2715

Get ready for another layer then, since I have you trying to screw everyone.
I'm going to have to come up with a rule that all the assets need to have the ability to be fielded during the course of a 3-turn game. So something like this wouldn't work without adding more summoning formations. But it would be fine IMO if you set it up where you based your army builds on the assumption that your rolls were going to be the maximum every time (rolling nothing but 3's).

Heh, that's fair. Matt and I were just laughing over that BL list last night and I felt the need to post it.

Further question, will there be gaming on Sunday as well?

Tim and I will be in attendance, still seeing if Chris, Scarik and Karl are down. Either way, Tim and I don't need their help to show you how crappy our armies really are!

If I got all my old crappy Guardian models out of their bag of shame, I'm sure I could field 10 Guardian fms with support weapons and 10 4 strong ranger fms. That'd be the shiz - think of all those MW and sniper shots!

Tim, Karl and I have a room. So we're definites at this point. If they bail on me now I break their knees and sell their armies.

I'm so happy for all three of you. Have you set up a gift registry at a major department store? Chrystal, fine china, and flatware are all popular choices for that sort of thing

...what?

Matt, this is a gaming holiday not one of your vibrating-bed, back-alley-motel jubilees.

How dare you besmirch the honor and pride of Adeptus Ineptus.

Well, you and your Bethlehem dirty-tricks squad waited just long enough to schedule this thing until after I had made plans with my folks involving travel and plane tickets... obviously with the aim of preventing Adeptus Ineptus' star player (yes, that's me, Dave) from attending. ;D

But, the joke's on you, foul minions of Bethlehem Resin! You have merely prevented the AI player with the worst luck ever from attending (see batrep during which I couldn't kill one carnifex with something like 1K pts in activations), thereby depriving yourselves of at least one win!!! I have guaranteed, through my absence, that AI will regain the epic trophy!!!! You fools!!!!

Mwahahahahaha - *cough* *choke* ummm, yeah. I think I'll just go to corner somewhere and cry for a while...
:D

All too easy....

Now the only real challenge I have left is keeping Dave from grinding against the trophy and breaking the models off.
