That may be the case but if a new player has found their way onto a fan run site full of fan made lists, one of a few that this resource will be added to no doubt, they will be capable of not being confused by a different set of fan made lists and would it hurt to let them see there are other sets of lists out there for them to try.

Though I still think it's a good resource to point newbies at, wherever they're from, because I don't think it's confusing to quickly explain "These lists are from the UK tournament scene, which have their own army lists which are slightly different to those generally in use elsewhere, but they still give a very good idea about what types of Space Marine army lists are popular".
