Unlike Spiritseers etc, which are just things that EUK made up.

Epic fail by E&C!

Yeah yeah, take a minor mistake, focus on that, on not the extensive and well-put justification that forms the rest of my post. ;D :D

Where is the EA Hornet already! Get back to your CAD machine or no beef for you!

I guess I'll have to go vegetarian then, I just can't get interested in collecting an Eldar army, and I only scratchbuild stuff that I want to use in one of my armies.

On the other hand, semajnollissor has already scratchbuilt some impressive Space Elf bits, so he's probably the person to poke.

2pence from me: the Hornet has never been a staple unit for the Eldar Ben: it's just another forgeworld toy that's been bought out to make a bit more dosh: Usually you're on the side of not adding units for the sake of things so why the sudden change in heart?

My feelings are that it's halfway between a falcon and a vyper, in general the eldar are made up of specialist units that excel at one thing: why bother ruining the flavour of how the army operates by adding a halfway house unit?

So is every single model in every single army list in every single game GW has ever made.

I don't see a reason to be snooty towards FW models just because they're products intended for sale, because everything GW makes is "just" another toy soldier model kit.

I think it fits the theme of the Saim Hann army list quite nicely. *shrug*

I live! Well ish. I hate Appendix's. Especially when they cripple you.

Anyway - glanced through PDF - is it correct there is no longer any limit on the number of formations that can exit a wraithgate?

Each webway portal selected in an Eldar army allows the player to place up to three formations in reserve. These formations will enter play by activating and moving onto the table through any webway portal during the game, measuring their first move from the position the portal occupies on the battlefield. Only Infantry, Light Vehicles or Armoured Vehicles with the walker ability may use Webway Portals.

And Pulse! Its gone :)

Nice catch TRC, the once per turn limit is missing.

Pulse went away in 2008! You've just not noticed :)

Seriously though, really well done!

I do agree overall it's good (Better than several of the NetEA lists)... I mean, unreserved praise just ain't my thing :-)

An updated version of the codex has been uploaded with the following changes.

Pg 5 - Webway special rule amended to add the limit of one use per turn.
Pg 12 - Storm Serpent critical added
Pg 27 - Vampire Hunter critical added
Pg 33 - Seer Council given invulnerable save.

Also the rules for deploying wraithgates and the Avatar added to all the army selection lists. This was done as these rules only apply to the GT scenario, which the army lists are designed for.

Apologies for those that have downloaded the codex already.
