On Tyranids I'd see what Chroma has to say but generally they should be ok as long as people know about them in advance and have a good read of the rules. Reports show them occasionally slaughtering the odd unsuspecting opponent. I think the general problem is trying to play against them in a conventional style without taking things like spawning into account (mostly about leaving or unable to finish off broken synapse that spawn and come back at near full strength).

The same could be said for Necrons

The other Eldar Craftworlds are probably just as good as Saim Hann.

All of the "Big Five" Craftworld Eldar armies should be fine for tournament play; none of them seem to be particularly dominating.

I'd also say that "weird" armies like the Necrons, Tau, and Tyranids should be okay as well, as long is the players are made aware well ahead of time that they may be facing such forces. EPIC Tournaments should be about fun, making new friends who enjoy a great game, having new experiences, and winning... probably in that order. *laugh*

Looking forward to seeing what you decide, Onyx!

Well I'm the only player with a Tau army and I'm not going to be using it at this event (I'm probably going to use a Red Corsairs list if I can play) so there's probably no need to include the Tau for now.

Thanks for your input zombocom.

If you use Red Corsairs i would greatly appreciate it if you would post about your experiences with them :)

And for Salamanders: Yes the list is finished. Only Land Raider Redeemer stats need to be set.

I'd also suggest allowing the "Imperial Crusade" army... it's a fun and different Imperial army that doesn't get much love.

How much playtest has this one had?

I remember you mentioned it while down under and I forgot to look at it.

Do you have a link to it?

It's in the Net EA Imperial Guard doc. I've played it a few times and against it a few times and it's been a fun and interesting change of pace for our local Imperial players.

I like that list Chroma.

All kinds of ideas revolving around artillery and Terminators in Thunderhawks! ;D
