Jimbo: Are you committed to this date or was it a starting point? I am very confident that I will be out of town that weekend.

CL: Firstly, we are a group of likemined players, that is, gaming is more social than competitive (though we do get intense while having fun). I would also add that we are not tourney oriented, though we do play in them on occasion (40K primarily).

The skill level in our group is pretty good with a number of former Napoleonics/other historical players. A large percentage of us have families, so we tend to get together 2-3 times a month for anyone individual (myself included), though some are more or less available.

There's about three - four of us that are the core drivers of Epic, right now, but there are more coming on.

As stated earlier. Join our Facebook group and you can see what is going on. Our regularly scheduled night for gaming is usually Thursdays, but anyone can set up games on the other nights.

Funky. I have cousins living in Round Rock (the Haggards), and I got my EE degree from UT at Austin.

I think the Otterman should show for such an event.  It would double as a trade show.

No, I ive in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  However I love Texas.  Warm wind blowing.  Heat and blue skies.  A road that goes forever.  Anything I can do to make the game out there better I will do.

Well so far april 24 is a good start date. Anyone opposed to Asgaurd or is austin still a better central location for all involved? pleasekeep me posted to the players wants/dreams and we can make it happen.....

Where in Texas is Asgaurd? Not sure if I will be in Texas by the end of April. i think I will be there from around the 16th of May in Fort Worth.

Asgard is in Houston, just a few blocks South of Highway 59 on Kirby.  Asgard is a nice shop but parking sucks.

If I was going to pick the location, I'd really try to focus on Austin as it is more centrally located. Again, BattleForge Games has lots of tables and who knows, we could invite some of the Bell of Lost Souls over and see if they are interested. Also, they might give us a promotional nudge.
