oops.....

that sounds fine to me too.

Think its allocated seating.... how are we going to book. Individually or as a group? I have paypal btw.

If we want to do this as a group let me know either by email or posting here, I dont mind paying for three seats and then you guys can give me the money when we meet up at St Pancras, but be aware the price seems to go up all the time (its about £50 pounds for a return now).

Are the times of 16.30pm friday going out and 17.59pm sunday to return OK

Hi,
The end of the tournament is at 16h. A taxi can drop you off in 30min at the station or 40mn at the aerodrome.
Come on Friday evening is preferable, and we can even meet us to drink a beer in Brussels! :)

Zeiserg,

I've just been to my bank to sort out a €25.00 (£23.60 in real money :) ) international / national transfer. It's going to cost me £20.00 (€21.20) just to transfer the money (totalling €46.20 / £43.60).

Is it possible us UK chaps could either:

(1) Send the money via paypal
(2) Give you the money when we arrive in Belgum
(3) Us three UK guys send our money in one lot (that's still a charge of £6.60 each)

Matt / Joe,

Can you transfer the money any cheaper?

Thank you

I also tried to do an international bank transfer today, my bank wouldn't even do a transfer for a sum of money less than £25, at least online.

I was going to try and pop in to a branch tomorrow and querry it and get an idea of how much it would cost.

Dont suppose it will be cheap.

Paypal would be better for me too, or pay when we arrive.

If neither is possible Matt I think we will probably have to do a combined payment.

Well you've kindly booked the Eurostar for me and Matt. I'll book the tournament tickets (if it comes to that).

Thank you

Hi!
Happy New Year 2009 to all of you!  ???
At present, we have recorded 3 English and Irish. For details of organization, everything goes well. We are in constant contact to help.
Registration is open for new players.
If you interresse register you.

For your comfort, try to consider these suggestions:
1. Traveling together if possible.
2. Take the same hotel. Thus, we can meet when you arrive.
3. Communicate - me in the next 15 days your mobile phone numbers, I also give you mine.
4. send your completed list Army (http://www.epic-belgica.com/iwc_army_lists.html) to 3000pts for Saturday and Sunday for 4000pts.

5. We will discover Brussels on Friday evening for those who will be present.

We will award, in addition to the traditional prizes, a trophy for best group geographical Epic Armageddon. "
The four groups:
- King Arthur (United Kingdom, Ireland)
- Carolus Magnus (Belgium Nederlands)
- Barbarossa (Germany)
- Brenus (France)
The calculation will not be on the number of participants, but on average:
- More than losses inflicted on the enemy / / minimum loss in their own armies. 50pts
- Fair play 15pts
- Average number of goals made in the enemy / / lost goals. 35pts

The basis of calculation will be announced before the start of the tournament.
A+++
Gauthier :))

Zeiserg,

All sounds good. I'm still having problems sending you the money; did you get my email about the other bits of information I need (Matthew Otter).

Me Joe Jephson and Matt Arnold have all booked into the Chelton Hotel.

Dears,
I am not an official in this tournament , just a  tadefig club member ( despite I helped translating some of the lists, but it still does not qualifies me for official , just for complaints :) and I could help for two things , potentially :
1/ I worked in london and commuted with eurostar every week end. Coach 1 and 14 ( first and last) are reserved for groups and family. because of this , they are usually pretty empty , and are the usual meeting point of frequent flyer , squatting full 4 seats for their own. If you havent been able to book together, you can always try this ... ( well, asan exeption the 4.30 on friday IS sometimes full of drinking groups in 1-14... :-). the bar is the next option after that...

2/ I know the pain and cost of money transfer from uk to EU ; well, if you would consider this option, you can try and paypal me and I pay for you locally . I have a level 2 paypal account. this will cost you 1 quid for the transfer, and one local beer at the tourney. thats market liquidity ...

mp me for details if interested. 8v)
