I have my eye on daz's great gargant - last game against him (me trying out nids) he made 30+ consecutive 4+RA saves with his stompa mob so I owe him some retribution. The manticores and all that disrupt barrage from the nurgle has me cautious.

AMTL vs your Shadowswords reminds me of a sort of War of the Worlds Scenario
with Tripods marching forward lashing out with heat rays and the occasional British gun smashing a tripod's knee or 'hood' off here and there.

Except this time the British have got heat rays too! And then some!

By the way. War of the Worlds did actually happen...

Some rule questions for the almighty head judge before tomorrow

- There's seems to be some confusion about blocking portals for Eldar and Necrons.
Could you confirm that the FAQ's 75. 5.6.3 Eldar Technology and 78. 5.15.1 Necron Technology in the 20150528 tournament pack are valid for your tournament?

- Referencing FAQ 82. 6.1.6 Set-up Remaining Formations where it says that a player is only allowed to 'pass' on activating a formation if all the unactivated formation for the turn are in reserve.
As an example, having three Necron infantry phalanxes left in reserve and enough portals to bring them on the table. Every other formation has been activated.
Can i pass on the first two formations but then decide for the third one to make use of its activation?

Yes, I am aiming to stall my opponent
