Dave, what version of the Tyranid rules will you be using? (It's almost like reaching into a deck of cards these days).

I'm going to use the 9.0 rules so I can give my comments to Chroma, however I'm going to be using the Phase III list. There's a couple of point discrepancies between 9.0 and Phase III, but I will use the 9.0 costs and stats with the Phase III organization.

You can count on both Chroma, did you catch the latest one I posted against DS's knights from last weekend?

Very few people comment on BatReps over the weekend I find, I think they get lost in the shuffle...

So all the datafaxes and point costs will be from 9.0 but Phase III special rules section, right? (could you BE any more confusing? :p)

EDIT

DS, I guess you'll be using 3.11 rules with 2.0 point costs? :;):

Almost... datafaxes, point costs and special rules from 9.0 army list construction from Phase III.

Nah, I'm going to keep it simple. I'm just using 2.0.  :D

Probably 2 people - including yourselves. LOL

Yeah, I'd be surprised to see anyone fielding 2.0 anymore - playing against that list is like a three legged cat trying to bury a turd on a marble floor.

Who's the cat... and who's the turd?  *laugh*

Same here. I really like what E&C has done by splitting 2.0 into three different lists. This will be my first time playing the v3.x

Holy Smokes, that's an image....

Good luck one and all with the games, and sorry in the end I couldn't make it.

Well, attendance wasn't as good as expected, six players total, but I think it's safe to say that everyone who played had a great time. We did have a couple of prospective players watch for a bit. Dave and I met Friday night for a "warm up" game and Moscovian, Epilgrim, Dave and I played an interesting 4-way game on Sunday. I'll try to post the official results tomorrow and I'm sure others will be posting pics.

Ya, I've been busy at work.  I will try to get pictures up soon.

P.S. - CS, I think this thread is messed up in the database or something.  I blame DS .

I blame DS, too!  :D

I dont see this page of the thread messed, can you clarify (not that I would be able to do much about it without rooting through the db by hand).
