That's Jason. I've sent him an email last week and one this week but he hasn't gotten back to us yet.  I'm not sure if life is intervening or not yet as he didn't respond to the invite for this past Saturday.

Thanks for the contact info everyone!

I sent Dave my list, so the Demiurg are registered as opposed to being lookie-lou's  :D

See you Friday!

Just my recommendation, I would call some of these guys on the phone as soon as possible.  If the tournament is going to fall apart at the last second I'd rather re-schedule it than show up and have 4 other people to play against.  Last time Tim and I stuck with it and we had 3 of us total show.  While it was a fun time, the cost of driving up and staying over this time is considerably higher.

You have to admit that it was a memorable game. Yes, I was disappointed that there were only three of us, but when will you ever play such a big game again?

I really don't think you don't need to worry about a lack of numbers. We already have enough people to make it worth your while. However, I do understand your concern about the cost, especially given the insane price for gas these days. Also, I heard from someone, Eric (can't remember his TacComm name) and he said he's planning on attending. He's a newbie, but I assured him that that won't be a problem.

Hey guys,

Jason (TraditionCT) had an army ordered which hasn't arrived yet. He's thinking of not coming, could you guys let me know if you have any extra armies he can borrow for the day? Let's see if we can entice him to come up.

This is our updated list:

This is the most recent list or registered players:
Dave - nids
DS - AMTL
Scarik - Minervan
Mosc - DE
eP - Demiurg
Matt - Chaos

Maybes:
Jason - SM
Pete - Orks
DS's Nephew - ?
Eric - ?

True.  It was one of those games you don't get an opportunity to play often.  It's not just the $$ cost but the time cost this time too though.  Three days away is hard for me to get very often (and this will be the second of such trips in two weeks) so I just want to make sure I am maximizing my time, that's all.

Sounds like the numbers are coming along though.  '8' is the magical number in my mind for minimum tournament numbers and we'll probably hit it.  Although Tim will have to explain how he doesn't know if his own nephew is showing. :p

Loaner army - I can probably swing something of a loaner army.  Any preferences?  I have SMs, IG, Eldar.  Have him email me directly and I'll figure out what I can do.

Heck, my nephew doesn't even know if he'll be showing up!  :D He works as a firefighter. His schedule is 24 hours on, 24 hours off and where he works they're short staffed right now. So, lately he's been doing a lot of overtime, but sometimes doesn't find out about till the morning when he would normally leave.

OK, Jason has said he's willing to come up. So we're looking for one more to get our 8 player minimum. DS, any luck remember who Eric is on TacCom, or contact info for him?

Actually I will not be able to make it as I have to do some stuff with the girlfriend as it is our 2 year aniversary and I am going to a golf tournament on Sunday. Sorry.

Justin

Justin Tebo is out.  My guess is he's gonna be at the SWA event on Saturday despite his anniversary plans. The man loves his Ancients.  :p

Suvarov454 emailed me finally after a few months.  He is unable to attend as well.

I am out of contacts.

I have Eric's email address, but for the life of me I can't remember his TacComm name.

There's at least 5 armies I've never seen in action (including mine >.>) ought to be interesting.

I hope the 'everyone sustain' tactic works...

Sorry for the late reply gentlemen, but I won't be able to attend this event either.

Was really looking forward to destroying you Americans and assimilating you into Hivefleet Poutine, but it'll have to wait until some other gathering.

Good luck all!

Dave is playing Nids.

Bummer you can't make it, Chroma. Maybe you can make it next year for NEAT II.
