Well that's what Steve G ruled. Regarding the stall before activating for in portal units I've never seen it done with eldar. Always just played you don't have to emerge but it's more of a non action than a stand down.

Indeed, if your own God of war is waiting outside the wraith gate in a seriously p*ssed off mood you can choose (!)not to go out, but it's not taking an activation rather than marshalling.

Great work by Tim and the others that helped to make this a terrific tournament again this year. Three brand new opponents and 2 new lists to play. Thanks to Duncan, Dave and Darren (only just noticed that alliterates !) for three challenging and extremely enjoyable games. Highlight has to be scalping that Great Gargant... at last ! :-)

Im sure I can say from the whole Cornish posse we had a fantastic time gaming and chatting down the pub after. We will be returning next year... We'll be bring a big car ! :-)

Look at 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th all within 6 pts of each other, that's basically one objective extra in one of the games!

CLWC got both 1st and last place which is remarkable really.

Thanks to Tim for fantastic TOing and sensational terrain. I'd heard great things from the London guys about last year and it more than delivered.

Obviously it's the players that make the event and thanks to all 3 opponents, every game was pretty damn nail biting.

Big thanks to Alan for playing me game 1 as I was running late. Also kudos to him for not crying when his warhound pack lost an assault against my sentinels! Thanks to Horatio for explaining the rules for my own army to me in game 2! Really helps to play Mr Steel Legion when you've barely used them before. Thanks to Ian in my last game for patiently talking me through all of his Death Guard barrage horrors and for his excellent impression of a tentacle covered defiler.

A fantastic day (plus some amazingly painted armies) can't wake to see pics!

PS - also glad to see Mark completely ignore my thoughts that you need 2 void spinners & a tonne of AA in a Warlock army - shows me how much I know about anything!
