The games were fun and the players were all well behaved.  Big Battles was the way of the day.  ePilgrim, Dwarf Surpreme, RonSandt, and myself played 8000 per side (four armies of 4000 each) and that took the better part of 8 hours.  The Skitarii and Minveran Legion combined to fight the forces of Biel Tan and Demiurg.  The game was sliding toward defeat for the Xenos team when we squeaked out a victory with BTS and Take & Hold.  Ron abandoned an objective marker in a strange move and the second objective marker we managed to clear out with some luck.  One more turn and we would have folded.
I think you might have gotten TSNP also. In any case, it was an excellent game. We played on a 12' x 4' table. Mosc's dice betrayed him in the first turn with four (five?) failed activations and quite a few failed saves, but they redeemed themselves in turns 2 and 3.
For me (and Suvarov who was nice enough to go out of his away so that we could travel together), it was about three and a half hour drive from my house. It was impressive to see so many Epic players in one place.
