Dont know if some one have made a list allready, but seeing the Microworld concept art, the idea of a pure beastmen army sounds fun. viewtopic.php?p=603476#p603476

But when i think of beastmen the result becomes quite orkish - strong melee units, ramshackle vehicles. And doing an army just to use minis sounds a bit fruitless for me. Any one have any ideas for a list that would make it unique?
Only thought i have for a unit now is minotaur carried artillery - fast and mobile.

i'd say go for it. It DOES sound fun. Let's try and coordinate a wee bit as we've got some beastmen units in the Penal List so I'd like to built synergy between the two whenever possible.

Cool. Like your penal list, a penal legion will probably be a project some time.

Think the list could easily be both chaos or imperium like, the chance of a planet of beastmen making their own army after the imperium became really racist, is big.

Thought a little more about units:
Maybe having the possibility of a very magic army, or just a normal physical one. Thinking leaders with psychic powers and maybe even expensive specialist infantry with psychic short range powers, hitting hard on targets with good armour.
Since the beastmen have been a part of the imperium for some time, they could borrow alot from IG/LatD list, but add new units since they had holes to fill in the army, and no way of getting the needed stuff. Like aircrafts, titans and tanks.
Thinking the dull witted minotaurs could be used both as a heavy infantry unit and as a beast of burden, carrying or dragging artillery. Artillery that is hard to take down in close combat could be new.
Since there are more centaurs then one would normaly have cavalry in the armies, they could be several types. Close combat specialists, anti armor weapons or highly mobile sniper teams.

One of the lost and the damned lists would probably work quite well with those beastmen models.

Just a note from your intro regarding Minotaurs: those are just the colloquial term for the very large Homo sapiens variatus specimens so you should be good. Basically those Ogryn like abhumans that have devolved into a beastman state.
