Post subject:  Genestealer Cult List
I was curious if there were any Genestealer Cult lists that had been developed.  I looked around the board here and was unable to find any.

Years ago, there were a few players I knew who had put The Cult into 6mm for Space Marine after Hive War released.  It seems like you could work one out for EA using the LaTD list as a base with IG super heavy options in place of Demon Engines/Titans.

Is there a list up or in development that I missed?

I don't think there's been any recent development on such a list, but the Lost and the Damned list is probably a good place to start.

Come on over to the Tyranid forums and we can chew the fat about it...  :laugh:

Mods feel free to move this thread over to the 'nid section if it seems like it belongs there. :))

Being new to EA and unfamiliar with EA Tyranids, I'm not really sure how the Hive Mind thing now breaks down for bugs, but it should be part of the 'Stealer Cult if there is a practical way to do it.

Force translation basics from LaTD & IG could look like this:

Cult Magus = Demagogue
Patriarch = Aspiring Champ
Brood Initiates/Cultists = Cultists
Brood Brothers = IG Infantry
Hybrids = Mutants
Genestealers = take place of Big Mutants with Stealer stat line(?)
Hybrid Monstrosities = Chaos Spawn
Patriarch Throne/Altar = Chaos Altar

The rest of the basic IG stuff (roughriders, sentinels, russ, bassies, marauders, & thunderbolts etc) could stay as is with some super heavies mixed in.  

There might even be room to bring in antiquities like suicide bombers or have some sort of spawning pool.  Maybe even some lesser cult magi, Patriarch Guard, and some of the other T. Huckelbery ideas could find a home in an EA list.

There is a 40K scale list in a way old White Dwarf ... I have it somewhere in my Black Libary.  But the NetEpic list would be a good place to start, IMO.

There was also a Genestealer Cult list for current incarnation of 40k in one of the excellent Tempus Fugitives campaign packs. Let's see if I can find the PDF.

There was also a genestealer cult list for epic40k. I think someone on the epic french forum might have uploaded a scan of it in their epic40k section.

I think it was in Citadel Journal, but I might be wrong... I'll have to dig into my archives and see if it's in there.

Thank you Hena.... I was starting to get worried!  :p

The Genestealer List is still something that will always be close to me, and I am happy to hear suggestions or comments on it.
