PDF so sub orbital. After a poor fighter really. Is this excessive? Fighter bomber Save none Cannon 15cm AT6+/AA6+ Fixed Forward Machine Guns 15cm AP6+/AA6+ Fixed Forward 4 for 150 points (Should instead be 6 for 175?) Oh and a poor bomber Bomber Save 6+ 2x Twin Heavy Stubbers 15cm AA6+ Bombs 15cm 2BP Fixed Forward 3 for 200 |

I was thinking of using the old thunderbolt/marauder models for this sort of thing, and the stats I was thinking of were: PDF Thunderbolt: Fighter-Bomber, Save -, Linked Heavy Stubbers 15cm AP 5+ AA 5+, Fixed Forward; Rockets 15cm AT 6+ 3 for 125 PDF Marauder: Bomber, 6+, Lascannon 30cm AT 5+/AA5+ Fixed Forward, Bombs 15cm 2 BP Fixed Forward, Heavy Stubber 15cm AA 6+ Rear Arc 3 for 200 This was to make them WYSIWYG - The lascannon on the old marauder is hard to miss. Also, I only have 3 of the thunderbolts so I cant field them in 4's! The fighter would have very poor AT, poor AP, and acceptable AA, but still as a squadron being below the regular thunderbolt standard - but would have +50% numbers so more able to sustain effectiveness. The bomber would have good bombing firepower but be relatively defenceless. |
