Bear in mind it takes a year or so to do one of these supplements.

I am.  *laugh*

I think a full blown "Titan Enhancement Pack" book would have very broad appeal.

Option A sounds great to me E&C! It'd be awesome to see that done!

I love your ATML rules and the flavour text already there :smile: The - unusual in W40k background - more realistically scaled planetary battle with many millions (or probably billions) of combatants seems really epic and much better and more believable than W40k's too often 'right these handful of space marines subdue a whole planet y'hear! Because we love selling heroic space marines y'know and eh? What? A planet's much bigger than a gaming table is it?'.

Surely in a year or so if everyone focussed the play-testing we could get the Tyranid list good enough? I would guess it's all the other stuff that really takes the time.

Your call though, I'm just going for what would be more interesting to me and which I'd been more keen to get involved with with painting and playtesting stuff.

Indeed... my flavour text in the Skitarii entry mentions "In the battle for Gryphonne IV, two hundred million Skitarii were deployed to fight..."

Now that's a proper fight.  :))

So, you are thinking to have something of a single sheet of paper per army that you could shove into the book right next to the army lists?  Then of course the Errata.

Single sheet would be tough unless it was just changes to the army lists and units that got tweaked. In other words, not the entire list and quick ref but just the edits to them.

What I meant was 3 separate download for each of the armies, each of about 3-4 pages. 1 page for the updated army list, 2-3 pages for the updated quick ref with all the special rules on there.

E&C i would also vote for the tyrannids. the titans sound great and i would certainly buy them if they came out, but it would be nice to have something new. we already have titans (but not as in depth) and now were going to have more IG and SM with the new book coming out.
i realize you can still get armies on this sight but something about having them in print. after all,i wouldn't have a necron army if it wasn't for raiders.

just got done reading the posts on the necron page regarding updating raiders. E&C great idea w/ the stickers. i probably would of wrote the changes in the book rather then keep flipping from the book to the update sheet, so the stickers are a great idea. as far as reprinting goes, perhaps after, lets say 3 books come out, you could reprint them all together in one book. it could have updated stats and pictures. i realize this could be several years in the future but it would be a great way to spark some interest again for them down the road.

Another thought to add: why spend a year producing a supplement for a titan game, when FW are meant to be releasing their own titan game supplement around then or not long after? (which I would expect to be pretty popular and pull in a decent amount of mainstream W40k gamers) Yours could well play better, but how many titan games does the epic community really need?

Mosc:  Can you update the first post to add the Hive War, or is that not a definite?

===

I've discussed the "Mean and Green" (and yes, everything is working title at the moment - most of them are bit silly) with the other person most likely to assist in design.  We scrapped the entire idea of using the undeveloped parts of the Armageddon campaign.  Instead, we're looking at a deathworld setting and a story line a bit like Baran - Imperial settlers try to tame a deathworld where everything is ridiculously flammable, only to find Feral Orks in residence.  The gathering feral Waagh! attracts a passing Ork flotilla and the Imperials call for help.

Ferals
OGBM
Salamanders Marines (TRC/BL list)
Possibly Deathworld/Catachan, otherwise core IG

We have 3 Epic and 1 BFG scenario so far.

===

Another project(s) I would like to see (but have no illusion that I can reasonably expect to have time in the near future):

Nemesis - CSMs versus traditional opponents.  Lists plus 1-2 scenarios per pairing.  Could be done as individual micro-supplements, then collected into one doc.

* TSons v Space Wolves
* Emp Children v Eldar (probably Saim Hann)
* Alpha Legion/Cultists v Witch Hunters
* Imperial Fists v Iron Warriors (just for the siege theme)

I think you could also do a supplement for wandering or spacecraft-based forces with lots of BFG mixed in - Drifting the Void or something.
Templars
Alaitoc and/or Eldar pirates
Demiurg League

Ferals

Would this be a *new* Feral Ork list?

"Hive War" would be the third supplement I was looking at: Phase IV Tyranids, Iyanden, possibly Catachan and either another Ork or Marine variant army.

No new Feral list.  Though there aren't any purely new lists, 3 variant lists is probably enough to test.  And OGBM is arguably different enough to possibly be considered a new list.

- Adeptus Mechanicus & AMTL versus the Tyranid Hive Fleet Leviathan, in 'The Fall of Gryphonne IV' ?

:wow: Yes please! That sounds unbearably good.

You know, this is a good point.  In addition, if there is anything to make GW stamp out our endeavor it would be a competing book.  I'd go for option A.

Yeah, I can do that.
