Sorry, it's a warhammer fantasy phrase.

By "crumbling wounds", I mean the hackdown hits in close combat and autokills from blast markers when broken.

You aren't going to make enemies with this group, but you are right that new ideas aren't always accepted readily, especially on older lists.


While the debates may get a bit hot and heavy you are not going to make enemies in this forum, unless of course you really try hard :O

I think Hena may be on to something with the modified TSKNF

Here's an alternative for stubborn, a toned down version of ATSKNF
- count 1 less BM for suppression
- count 1 less BM for assault resolution (minimum of 1)
- count 1 less BM for breaking

Odd but I don't think it goes far enough, just a feeling as I have not tried anything like it. I also think it needs to be tied in some way to the formations size to work properly, again just a feeling. I'll put a couple of flash games together in a day or two (As I have some time off from work, the bad news comes later) and give a couple of variations of it a try. (Meaning trying it as printed, then at 2 and then at 3.)

I still think trying to go down the Inspiring/Leader road isn't going to work as we have already tried it for the Squats. Not only didn't it feel right, but it created more problems then it solved. That is not to say others shouldn't give it a try to see if they achieve the same results.

The Bad News.........................

I just get home, get to play with my new grandson, just get settled back home and WHAM :angry:  The Company needs me to leave again (In 3 to 4 weeks). I wonder sometimes how they made money before they hired me

I will try to stay in touch if the stupid Islands they put me on have any land phone service, but I am not going to count on it.

Meanwhile I keep posting till I fly off........
