I was actually planning to run a game myself today - 3.5K SM vs Eldar (NetEpic 3.1).

I have been working on a pair of Fellblades for mye SM this last week, and was dying to give them a try, but when I opened my box of Eldar, the first thing that struck me was that they were in dire need of some brushing up, so I ended up painting instead.

Yea, and I ended the session by kitbashing a 40K Eldar Hvy Wpns platform into a Storm Serpent. And I'm sort of pleased with the result :)

So now I'm contemplating wheter to do some Storm Serpent painting, or watch X-Men origins Wolverine on the telly.

We're in this wonderful part of the year up here in Norway when the sun does not really settle but just sort of dips below the horizon, so I figure I still have some daylight left that I may have to do good on.

That's a pain that you didn't get a game Ringo, any chance you will do a battle report when you do? I can't get enough of these! I'd be interested in seeing your kitbashed minis also!

Nice report Dude. Well photographed, and an entertaining read.

I also rock an all Khornate army from time to time. And while it might not be the most subtle of forces, (LOL) it is pretty much always fun to play with. Its the army I come closest to running out of charge counters with.

Haha! I know what you mean about the charge counters, I scoured ebay to pick up a 2nd set just to counter that problem. No pun intended!

Thanks all for the nice comments! If you want more there's some better and more comprehensive reports under Net Epic Battle Reports if you go back a bit... :)
