even with this support Yarric started to worry if he and his army would survive this battle?



The Squat artillery starts to punish the well dug in imperial artillery units on the hil

while the rest of the Squats and Tau moving on for the bridge
the first units cross it and immediately Squat berserkers launch a attack on the just arrived Marines Souts

a wall of weapons advance to the imperial lines

while more and more units take position for the Titan Legions attck

same on the Eldar side


counter attacks from imperial Airborne troops

supported by 30 Tunderbolts and Maraudeurs


Lightning fighters and 2 Marine drop ship supporting the imperials left flank


devestators and Terminators reinforce the troops inside the goverments buildings

Slow but steady the Squats charge

brutal losses at the bridge crossing units
Ordinatus Mars kills nearly 2 COis of tanks here



Many of the imperial flyers got gunned down by fire storms and Exarch but some survived and killed many Falcon tanks and Guardians in return

athough 2/3rds of the Lightnings got shot out of the sky

but killed several Gyrocopter in return

only a few defenders left around the hill and woods


allied forces in position for Turn 5


it should be more red than green sure 200 men died here


the hill must be ahill of bones and bodies

the airforce is more a drop of water on a (very) hot stone
too much enemies

Playing this battle now for 8 days and probaply 50-60 hours
I am in Turn 7 now
all reinforcements now joined the game
Yarric is DEAD(the first time ever?)
Imerial reinforcements try to fight their ay to the bridges but
allied defense is brutal
Nevertheless heavy casualities on both sides

The battle cheography worked out quite well.
Will post the other Turns soon.

BTW my back hurts and my feet and of course the knees

I finished this battle yesterday after 10 days of gaming about 65-70 hours pure gaming

Now the Allies defend while they try to kill the last IG´s troops inside the wall

Since most of the Imperial units attack
first fire belonged to the allies



Titan Legions suffred a lot
one Warlord got destroyed before fireing even a shot
also several knghits crashed due to enemy fire

In return some Tau and Squat tanks got destroyed




It was the Ultras honor to fight the Eldar troops
their long old enemy(our battles mostly used eldar and Marine forces)


the last defenders got now crashed



brave attack on the bridge

but advancing Titans got under heavy fire

and suffered critical reaktor damage both

also the Emperer lost all his shields and had to made some forst saves.
One lucky shot managed it through the heavy armour and damaged the Main battery.
It was a shock for the Imperial forces the see the Emperor being hit while not even have shot already.

Battlesuits caused many casualties




after CC
some Squat units fought tough,
but most of them did their job and died in CC



a few tanks(woods) 5 artillery pieces
a small group of soilders, some flyers and the Leviathan
thats what is all left

YARRIC did not made it he got gunned down by Eldar Titans
neither his armour(3+ fixed) nor the Medic next to him managed to save him
R.I.P.


Victorious Marines yelled their battlecrys at the remaining Squats


Endphase:
The Emperor did not managed to repair it´s damaged Main battery
but restored 6 shields and rolled a 6 for next turn
but both Warlords exploded and took many Marines and Squats in 2 big explosions



The Ultras suffered the most
they took a lot of Eldar troops with them
but Eldar snap fire was horrible


The Knights crushed all of their opponents
and advance fire from supporting units cleared the buildings and ruins around

while the Tau airforce attacked the Imperial Titans

meanwhile the knights and marines pushing forward


the Space Wolfes now try to clear the ruins

but got also attacked from tau airforce

while Squats are unloading a full CO+3 support detachments


many units insidse the wall turn now towards the bigger treat

a 2nd Manta unloads a full Fire Warrior CO+ a Battlesuit commando unit

and a 3rd one unloads mor tanks and Battlesuits


on the hill inside the wall 2 Orcas try to land but one got blew out of the sky by the last remaining Hydra
only 1 BoardsideBattlesuit survived.
Another 4 Crisissuits disembarking from the 2nd Orca managed to kill the Ordinatus bevore it can fire again

brutal fire destroyed many Landraiders but this brave Cads managed to destroy the Colossus in return.

2 flyers and a stand of Inf. this is what is left


Marines and Eldar in firefights

not many marines left

Titans support the Marines but could not turn the tide

Gundrones caused heavy casualities under the Knights
reducing the Imperial troops even more

The Emperor titan opend fire and damaged the Moray, stripped one Manta from its shields and killed a 2nd colossus and some smaller units
in return it sufferd damage to the Reactor unable to produce further plasma
and lost it´s voidshield generators.
To take revenge for their master the warlords concentrate their fire on the unprotected Manta and killed him.

in advance the Tau and Eldar airforce detroyed dozens of tanks and several titans

inside the walls the area is secured






only a few survivors, retail attack failed


the few Titans and Knights are ordered for retreat

Tau airforce wiped out several titans and Knights

some Ultras hiding in the suburbs, fearing being warpsisoners taken by Eldar or Tau

he was close to detruction

also the Sapcxe wolfes are orderd for retreat


the Morray is damaged but not dead


The 2nd defensive line is fully intact

Boys boys,
I hoped to raise the Bar very high
In years people should say
"look we played 20K per side yesterday"
then all kiddies jump up an say "hell yeah!"
But a old man in the corner(always talking weirde stuff about a game called NETEPIC) says:
xaxa boys once years ago there was a crazy guy living in munich germany, he played 72K VS 87K PAINTED(okay actually there were about 3K not painted) against his own
and yes he actually had sex sometimes too.


here are some numbers roumoring in my brain:
allies and IG field about 3.5K INF. about 700 Stands each
IG field 180 MBT 40SHT and about 64 APC(Chimera Razorback) and hundreds of Rhinos
70 Flyers and 500 men (100 stands) airorne troops jpined the in turn 4

allies field about 200 MBT/APCs(Falcons) and 18 SHT
in the 1st Turn the allies attacked with 250 stands bikes trikes and jetbikes
the allies got supported by 50 flyers and 5 airborne COIs of different kind(tanks, battlesuits, INF.)


-I did setup (terrain and 30K per side) within 8 hours and nearly 2 for dismounting
-First turn took me 11 hours the others about 8 per Turn
-girlfriend started complaining about, after the first 4 days
