I once played a similar really huge game against Squats...they took a Land Train with 10 carriages

I think I will use my 2nd Land Train to build up specialized cars
and the engine to build a tunnelling Train
And yes with extra battle cars a LT could get really nasty
I love/hate the rad bomb
its fantastic to shoot out well dug in Inf.

Turn 1 Endphase:
Squat side
Squat right flank
Ig left flank

The landing craft tuched down on the squats right flank
1 bike co. 1 jumppack co. and a reaver disembarked savely on advanced
While I(IG) had more units to move
the squats guild biker ccame into nothing
Thats allowded the airborne co. to land savely
while det.1&2 landed right beside the guild bikers in the woods
det.3 landed between the ork buildings

It looks bad for the squats on their right flank
outnubered by 2 to 1 and facing 25 flyers
their flank could collaps after Turn 1
The supporting Ig tanks LR co. No.2 and malcafloors
advanced to pick up some bikers
The remaining squat units on this side
tried to get as much cover as possible
hiding in the ork buildings, woods and trench

Turn 1 endphase:

in first fire
the Ig´s warlord No.3 opend up fire first
the warp missile aimed at colossus No.2
struck home and detonates right in the reactor
destroying this mighty vehicle with one shoot
the squats were now into more trouble on this side

not finished the warolrd
aimed his vortex on a big ork building
with 5 thunderer inside, detroying it too.
the barrage missile was shoot on some warriors and thuderers
killing a few stands
what a blow
the warlord killed a colossus,6 thunderes and a few warriors
nearly double its point costs

nowing that his artillery was lost
the squat player fired with its goliath cannons
which destroyed a ork building with some tacticals from det.3 inside

It turns out really bad for the squat player
lost half of his bikes in first and advanced fire
his goliaths and half of his inf.
he fights back desperately
killing half of the jumppacks
and some tactical
and 2 valkyries

Turn 1endphase:

squat left flank

both sides taking as much cover as possible between
the city , ruins and woods on this side
while providing nice cover for inf.
it turns out that playing Ig against squats
its not clever to hide in buildings
both sides had to learn that in turn 1
I think 4-5 building collapsed in that turn on this side
cause heavy casualties on both sides inf.

during the inf. lesson about quake,the cylops main weapon and artillery warlords
the amoured units soaked up the remaining fire
forcing the gyrocopter co. to take a breake test on turn 1
like the some Ig units
but the squats good morale value and yarrics wip keeped all units on line

again I took alot of picture before battle
while only a few during battle

you can see warlord No.1, my command warlord, hiding behind a building
while his recon land speeder, spotting for him per pop-up-attack

all these small black ruins
are symbols for destroyed buildings

on this side
nearly all units stayed on first fire
except the airships
which I did not managed to shoot down during the whole battle(scoring 11 hits with my hydras)
the best flyer in EPIC IMO

which suffered casualties from the airships

in turn 2 the remaining guild bikers charged as much units as they reached
some of them get counter charged by imperial jumppacks and bikes
nearly wiping out each other

the Ig flyers  reaver and tanks concentrate their fire
on the leviathan and remaining bikes
but this heavy protected pretorean wont die
crippling its tracks and 2 lasC.
the squats did not hav much to answer
but the airship killed more tactical stands det.3 and valkyries
while some guild bikers killed some Ig heavy troops and tactical from det.1&2

all squat vehikles and artillery were killed except the airship and levihathan on this side
while the IG looses neraly all bikes and jumppacks
and took heavy casualties on the airborne co.

the flyers move up to clear the squats right flank(Ig left)
in turn 3 the could concentrate thier fire on the remaining squat inf. and leviathan, which got finally destroyed
only a few stands survived
and of corse the airship
which destroyed, a building with tactical det.3 inside, in return
these casualty broke the airborn co. finally
