Hello everyone! This is my first post, but I've been reading the forum for years.

Today, and the next few days, I will be posting some batreps of Necron Sautekh Legions. Hopefully we will get aproved soon.

I'm not native English speaker, so sorry for my bad English ;D

Necrons win iniciative



·TURN 1


- Left Iudicium Maniple, advance against Shadowswords, 4 hits, 1 DC, 2BM.
-Thunderbolts do CAP.
- Right Iudicium Maniple advance targeting Conqueror in cober, 3 hits, one dead, 2BM.
- The other thunderbolts do CAP.
- Warrior Phalanx in Ghost Arks, double move.
- Conqueror advance and shoot Ghost arks, only 6 of the conquerors in range, none hit, 1BM.
- Dooms Scytes ground attack shadowswords, one of the formations of Thunderbolts in CAP make 2 hits, 1 dead. 2 hits to shadows, 1 DC, 2 blast markers.
- Shadowsword advance and shoot Ghost Arks, 2 hits, 1 Annihilation Barge and a Ghost Ark dead, plus 1 warrior stand. 4 BM, 5 in total.
- Shroud Bombers ground attack conquerors, CAP and hydra makes 3 hits, 1 dead. 3 hits to conquerors, 1 dead, 2BM.
- Baneblades advance and shoot against Ghost Arks, 4 hits, only 2 warrior stands and the leader stand still alive. Broken unit.
- 2 Night Scytes ground attack left Thunderbolts and kill them.

-Initiative to minerva
- Thunderbolts CAP
- Thunderers retains, advance, they open fire against the left Doomsday Arks, 3 hits, 3 deads.
- Right Doomsday Arks marshall and clean all the BM, then shoot against Conquerors; Griffon killed, 2BM
- Baneblades advance against right Doomsday Arks, 4 hits, one dead.
- Warrior unir without their arks marshall, repair all the stands and leave the battlefield through the tomb complex portal.
- Salamanders advance and shoot the broken Doomsday Arks, one dead.
- Manticorea fails activation test.
- Basilisk make sustained fire against Doomsday Arks, no kills, but broken.
- Shadowswords get in overwatch.
- Conquerors fail activation test.

- END PHASE -

- Conquerors clean 3BM
- Left Doomsday arks rally without BM
- Shadowswords clean their BM.
- Right Doomsday Arks clean 2 of their BM.
- Manticore rally, no BM

-TURN 3




- The 2 Monolith maniples teleport without BM.
- Minerva win iniciative
- Salamanders advance and shoot left Doomsday Ark, no damage, but broken.
- Thunderer retain, advance and shoot left Monoliths. 4 hits, no damage, Shadowsword overwatch kill them.
- Right Doomsday Arks pop up and fire the Conquerors, no damage, 2BM.
- Basilisk make sustained fire against right Doomsday Arks, 1 hit, broken.
- Monoliths on the right double and shoot Conquerors, no damage, retain with inmortals to engage.
- CC: 2 spyders and lord, 1 hit from the spider, no kills, 3 hits FF, 2 kills.
- Conquerors 3 hits, spyder, lord and one inmortal stand killed
- Supporting fire from one monolith 2 hits, no kills.
- Tied dice
- Second round inmortals make 4 hits, 2 kills (one the comissair), russes make 3 hits, 1 kill, monolith make 1 hit, with no damage.
- All inmortals dead in the dice roll
- Baneblades advance and shot Monoliths, lots of hits, both monolith destroyed.
- Doom Scyte ground attack thunderers, only the MW hit, no kills, 1BM.
- Conquerors marshall, clean 5BM, move towards one of the objectives of my deployment zone.
- Night Scytes deploy portals next to the Conquerors. AA fire from Hydra and Thunderbolts makes 3 hits and both get destroyed.
- Basilisk do sustained fire against right 3 Doomsday Arks, and because of being Broken all get killed.
- The little Warriors unit engage the Salamanders through the Tomb Complex and kill one of them (4 hits, only one of the Salamanders in range), make them broken and letting free my blitz.
- The last Night Scyte deploy the portal against the minervan BTS (Conquerors). The two hydras make no damage. The big Warriors unit engage Conquerors.

- Spyders and Triarch Stalker in CC only cause one hit, no MW.
- Warriors only cause 3 hits, MW from the Overlord doesn't even hit.
- Only the griffon get destroyed.
- Minerva causes 1 hit, no kills.
- Supporting fire from the Shadowswords makes 2 hits and 2 kills.
- In the rolling dice I won with only an advantage of 2, so I cannot kill his BTS.

- END PHASE-

- Conquerors rally, 2BM.
- Alone Doomsday Ark rally
- Salamanders dont rally and continue running.
- Warriors BTS clean all their BM

No winner in T3. After talking and thinking about next turn we figure out that necrons only could achieve 1 point (BTS), and Minerva could obtain 2 if they kill the big Warrior formation.
The only hope for Necrons was to engage for being save, but Minerva won the iniciative so we finish the game at this point.

I have to say that that was my first game with Sautekh after playing Scarab Legion for a while, so my decisions could have been much better. My oponent’s luck with his dice rolls don’t help me at all (funny because he usually have the worst rolls that I’ve ever seen).

I love the style of this NewCrons, so different from the originals. Soon I will test against Iron Warriors to improve my skills, and hopefully to help this list to get Approved.

Any advices with the list or my playstyle are welcome.

Thanks! I don't remember all of them, because I taked units from different mods to make the army list.
Infantry are from de Epic Armageddon Necron file, and vehicles mostly from 40k mods rescaled.

Interesting, that seems like quite a lot of airforce for Necrons.

Does Sautekh feel "lighter and faster" than the original army list and stats?

Is very different to play. Having units like Doomsday arks that don't use portals, and fire from long range instead of doing an engagement... It feels like playing with a new faction
