Post subject:  Skitarii Legion (NetEA v2.05) and Scions of Iron (NetEA 2016

Hi all
Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Gryphonne IV Skitarii Legion (NetEA v2.05) and Scions of Iron (NetEA Tournament Pack 2016)

Trent and Nikki played the Scions of Iron (NetEA Tournament Pack 2016) and Me and Alan played the Gryphonne IV Skitarii Legion (NetEA v2.05)….

Dang. Tough termi drop. Interesting game though. Any thoughts on massed support missiles after a few games?

If my opponent had dropped the teli tubbies in front of the ORDINATUS MINORUS, then the game would have been different...so lot less missile fire..

As to the massed support missiles..still think they will have hard time with some of the army builds. It can make the game pretty much predicable in most case. So either the Skitarii Legion will shoot early and then be left with pile of W/E that cant do much against AV/WE, if the support missile don't kill enough... Or they wait till turn three shoot everything and hope they break enough enemy formation and that the enemy don't rally enough back.. and that the Skitarii Legion have enough goals to win the game..

If the army they are facing is low activation army, both option are possible, but I think with high activation count, this may not be as easy to achieve....Just my two cents..I will drop my thoughts on changes to the Skitarii 2.05 (Approved Candidate version) thread...
