This ended up 5-0 in turn 3 to the Orks. The real BTS never made it on board, so the Wyches counted for it.

VASSAL gave Norto a pretty hard time, dice-wise. His assaults on the Landa and Wagons were well under average. Also the aircraft decided they didn't want to do anything turn 2 or 3.

i wrote this up and you got pics up already for me :D

Deploy

Turn 1

DA win strat roll and elect DE to go first.
DE-bring on bombers targeting big guns and clip warband with dreads killing a dread.
Orks- Double Scorches forward.
DE-Vessel singles and shoots warband with dreads
Orks-air assault scourges wiping them out.
DE-Warriors out of grate and shoot landa for a blast.
Orks- Fortress mob double forward
Orks- retain and double forward gun wagon formation shooting a vessel leaving it on 1DC
DE-engage warband and intermingle landa losing the assault.
Orks- Big guns double and hack down vessel.
DE-Hellions engage warband and intermingle landa and wipe them out.
Orks double forward warband with dreads and hack down a raider.
DE-Whyches assault battlewagon warband wiping themselves out.
Orks- Bikes double forward and shoot Vessel taking off the shields.
DE-Slave bringer comes on to pick up hellions
Orks-Battle Wagon warband doubles to block gate.

Thanks for the report and for the choice in the background, it makes the units easier to see than in other Vassal reports i've seen.

On the other side, Dave, from the 3rd onwards, there is 5 or 6 screen shots that are out of order, so its taking a bit to see what's happening on turn 1, having to rely on Norto's summary as support.

Nice battle report. That's a major victory for the Orks there. I've never seen such effective greenskin shooting!
