Hi ALL,

Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Steel Legion (NetEA Army Compendium v2014) and Ulthwé Craftworld (4.2)..

Britt played the Steel Legion (NetEA Army Compendium v2014) and I played the Ulthwé Craftworld (4.2)..

Thanks for the report. I agree with your assessment that you over reached too soon with the Ulthwe, I would also suggest that you spread yourself out to much as well. Closer action would have allowed the Warlock to give more supporting fire. However, facing that number of Shadowswords was always going to be difficult.

Yeah that's also true about spreading out, but I was looking at lanes of fire etc and wanted to cut down on those...

It a Interest SL list and it one you posted, am right to say its one that that won a Tournament over there..

That steel legion list has really extreme tournament results. It won in Exeter last year but then got only a single draw and 2 losses in Bristol this year. It's obvious weaknesses is against any sort of infantry spam assault army - volcano cannons aren't great against gaunts or speed freaks.
