Hi ALL, Well we manage another game of epic. It was 3000 point per side and it was between Legio Gryphonicus (NetEA v3.24 *APPROVED*) and Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014) Mathew played the Codex Astartes (NetEA Tournament Pack 2014) and I played the Legio Gryphonicus (NetEA v3.24 *APPROVED*) Link to AAR.. http://pfe100.blogspot.com.au/2016/10/l ... -v324.html |

Much better read, the pictures worked well and when accessed (separately on a phone), were easily read. Interesting game as well. Attacking a Reaver with a single formation of Termies is always going to be risky, especially if they have been armed with assault weapons (which these do not seem to have been). On average the Reavers should kill a Terminator, while the Termies should cause ~2 damage on the Reaver. This leaves the assault resolution even unless there are other factors (Chaplain, BMs etc). Adding other titans should push the assault resolution in favour of the Titans, even if the attackers are placed on the far side of the WE target from the support (to screen them from support fire) . . . As such the persistent attacks on pairs of titans was a tad lucky - not something I would easily pull off given my dice . . . ![]() |
