First battle with my Legio Victorum vs Tau, and one of our first battles ever so we did some mistakes, this games dates back some months so, not completely acurate.


Legio Victorum Set-Up: 3000 points
Warlord with Quake Cannon, Gatlingblaster, Turbo Laserdestructor, Plasma Cannon
Reaver with CC Weapon, Turbo Laser Destructor, Vulcan Megabolter
Reaver with 2 Plasma Blastguns, Turbo Laserdestructor
Warhound with Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter
Warhound with Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter
Warhound with Inferno Gun, Turbo Laserdestructor

I know that the Warlord got rid of his shields really quick and then took a Crit which exploded his Reactor.
Rest is gone in the wind...

Do not really know how this ended...
Bad thing with me is, as soon as I start taking photos it seems I automatically loose!...

Second fight, sadly I can't find any pics...

AMTL Force Set-Up: 3000 points
Imperator Titan
Warlord with Quake Cannon, Gatlingblaster, Turbo Laserdestructor, Plasma Cannon, Veteran Princeps
Warhound with Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter

Again vs Tau, battle out of remembering.
The Imperator is a heavy bone to chew for the Tau, the Manta was reduced to half his hitpoints after the first Salvo. Warlord killed a Detachment of Hammerheads and thats about it. Robots got mangled by a big Crisis detachment, that was supported by Firewarriors in Devilfish who killed a Warhound with their missiles...
I moved the Warlord in turn 3 too far from my Blitz, which was captured by the Firewarriors/Devilfish, my Imperator was standing useless in the middle of the fiield contesting 2 mission objectives ( ok, not that useless ) and the lone Warhound was nearly down.
Lost 2 to 0 on objectives ( Blitz and They Shall Not Pass for the Tau )

3rd fight with pics again!

AMTL vs Space Marines: 3000 points
Reaver with 2 Turbo Laser Destructor, Apocalypse Missile Launcher
Reaver with CC Weapon, Turbo Laser Destructor, Vulcan Megabolter
Reaver with 2 Plasma Blastguns, Turbo Laserdestructor
Warhound with Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter
Warhound with Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter
Warhound with Inferno Gun, Turbo Laserdestructor

First round:
My buddy rolled higher but gave me the first activation, I rolled a 1 for my Thunderbolts...
He then came up with his 2 x 2 Thunderbolts who killed my Robots...
Not much shooting left in the first round. killed two bases from an Assault Squad with my BTS Reaver.

The Vindicator saved all 3 hits from the Turbo Laser Destructors...
All other units on both sides got into positions for turn 2

I rolled highest for second turn first activation and used my Warhound with the Inferno Gun ( in the background here before his activation ) to burn some Marines ( killed a Rhino, Razorback, 2 Devastator squads and a Bike squad )

After that I lost both Warhounds on my left flank to good coordianted attacks. Terminators who teleported near my BTS Reaver managed to brake him in CloseCombat and things started to get heavy...

Initative for turn 3 went to the Marines who immediately started to kick my ass...
Termis teleported to my Blitz, defended by my BTS and luckily rallied Reaver, they attacked, lost the CloseCombat and even a Squad and were broken. One Reaver and the remaining Warhound secured the 2 objectives in the enemys half of the table... at this point.
I moved my BTS Reaver to wipe out my buddys BTS Predator Detachment and failed... He then took out my Reaver in 2 or 3 Combats, moved one unit up to contest one objective

And now I can't see why we ended the game in the last picture... He had my BTS, 1 point, and then...
I guess he moved one last unit to capture the bottom left objective...
So, 2 to 0 for the Marines.

Lessons learned for me:
1. Try to hold Titans with short ranged weapons in the middle of the table so they can use them.
2. Choose my targets better! Instead of the Predators I should have killed the Bikes or at least brake them.
3. Don't rush my BTS in the middle of 3 units that are good at Firefights...

Looks like a good day of epic. Titans are surprisingly hard force to play.

Yeah, mostly fun, till the point you notice both sides did mistakes and the game could have been a win for the Titans.
Still so much to learn!

In the third gme it was really only a 1:0, we don't know why we quit, next round all my Plasmas would have been recharged, his BTS down to 3 tanks and his Bikes down to 2 units... aahhhh crap this ;-)

Next time, still learning how to use them.

Any suggestions for me how to use my Titans to better effect? I read that you pair up the Warhounds...
What about Weapon Loadouts on Warhounds/Reavers/Warlords?
