So a test game between Dark Eldar (UK) and Cadians
The game was fun but we both suffered from miserable dice (as usual)
Mordoten have not played much with the Dark Eldar so he was, in my opinion, a little to coward when he choose the objects for his big engagement. I would have gone for the Leviathan with both the Vessels and the Warp thing. But it would have been a gamble so…
After he destroyed my right flank he took a real beating, making turn 3 a not so fun turn for him. Even so by him focusing on my weak units he also had crippled my fast ones, as they are the same, so it was a close call for me to get to enough objectives.
Also with him hiding all the time it was hard to get the money’s worth from my big units. Especially the HQ (Leviathan) suffered from an early hold and sneaky units…
The numbers:
Whiteshields and Inf Co starts on OW near the middle of the board. The rest fears the Spaceship so the spread out to both corners.

Turn 1
C win initiative
C death strikes activate and roll snake eyes trying to take out a Vessle of pain.
D Space Ship activate, barrage barely hits a Sentinel and a Hydra placing BM. Pin-point misses the Stormsword.
D Ravengers double on the same Hydra battery but get shot by Whiteshields on OW who kills 3 and breaks the formation
C Manticores sustains on a Raider formation killing 6 and breaking it
D CAP fail
C Colossus activates with help from the SC attack Reavers but fail to hit anything
D Vessle of pain advance on Whiteshields, killing 1
C Hydras marshall and moves.
D Second Vessel of pain double on the Inf Co that guard the warp gate, killing 1
C Bombards hold and shed BM
D Raiders double on the Whiteshields 1 BM
C Sentinels hold and shed BM
D Reavers engage Whiteshields killing around 10 and breaking the formation
C Hydras on the left double and shoots the Vessle of pain, 1 shield down
D Raiders double on the Hydras to the right and throws out a Warp Gate
D Raider BTS engage Sentinels out of the gate and kills them all.
C Stormsword march towards BTS
D Planes attack Deathstrikes, breaking them
C HQ Hold and shoots at Raiders killing 2
C Inf Co engage Vessle of pain, destroying it
C Thunderbolts attack fleeing Ravengers, killing them
C Kasrkin near Blitz goes on OW
Rally: Deathstrikes, Whiteshields and Raiders fail.

D Ravengers engages Hydras and kill them all
D Raiders hold (even with SC) places a BM on Bombards
C Bombards shoot nearby Raiders killing 5 and breaking them
C Hydras hold and moves away
D Vessle of pain attack Hydras killing 1 and breaking them
C Colossus attack BTS killing 3
D Planes attack Inf Co killing 1
D Ravengers hold in the warp failing to engage prepped Inf Co
C Thunderbolt attack BTS killing 3 (the SC)
D Planes attack broken Hydras killing them
C Manticores hold and removes BM
C Inf Co move and shoots Vessle of pain 1 BM
C Stormsword move and shoots Raiders killing 2 and breaking them

C Stormsword double on Raiders killing 3 and breaking them
D Ravengers engage Inf Co from the warp, breaking them (OW only places BM)
C Colossus gets a little help from the SC and kills the last of the Raider BTS
D Planes kill 1 Deathstrike, breaking them
C Manticores moves and shoots at Ravengers, killing 1 and breaking them
D Planes attack Manticores killing 1 and breaking them
C HQ attack Vessle of pain but only manages 1 BM
C Bombards attack Vessle of pain
C Thunderbolts finish the job and does 1 DC breaking the Vessle of pain
C Kasrkin march and secure two objectives
