That was a fun and enjoyable game last night. Both sides had their share of horrendous luck, yet came up swinging. Greg played the better game, but we both had our chances.
I've only had a couple of games with the Red Corsairs, but here are my views concerning the army.
Pro: CHOSEN, 6 strong with Scout ability. Love 'Em. These tend to bottle up the enemy movement, and unlike its 4 strong cousins in other Chaos lists, can really put up a good fight, CC or FF. RENEGADE WARBANDS are excellent value for points. Lack of transport can be nullified by making them garrison. The occasional use of the Commander can bring in nearby units, especially Chosen, and prove decisive. HOUNDS look just as good, though I haven't used them yet. TERMINATORS, 6 strong, should also be hard to handle. A THUNDERHAWK with a Renegade Warband aboard is almost a must have.
The other bits and pieces in the list are useful, but you'd be better served to use the army these special units came from. Demons are nice, but Emperors Children and others are better for them. The points are better spent on Chosen.
Con: RC are best against light to medium armored forces. The have no real answer to WE and very heavy armored units except CC. This makes sense for a raiding force, and even here, superior numbers and the ability to go through any terrain can keep your opponent worried. Play aggressively.
IMHO this is a good list, if slightly on the weak side facing WE. Against the rest it's an infantry commanders dream and will reward good tactics and aggressive play.

Thanks for the report and thoughts. RC are not a list that I have looked at much but the number of Chosen formations was a bit of a shock (almost like one of my test games).
