Seems to have been an interesting battle. Some thoughts:-
  • The list is intended to work in 3-4 groups, using command to set up highly destructive assaults while working under the AA and artillery barrage. Ideally the night Spinners and Falcons are kept in the central group (possibly with the Shining Spears) both to provide the greatest opportunities and also the greatest protection.
To that end, don't be afraid to abandon your Blitz in the first turn by moving the Night Spinners, preferably shooting as well (without indirect fire)
  • I tend to make sure that these groups are tightly packed together, usually one formation of Guardians and two of Bikes, often with the Guardians mounted. This has two effects; you get an increased charge range and the Guardians are less vulnerable to enemy fire.
  • There are similar tactics against teleporters and air-assaults, but I will let you work these out (I don't want to give away all my secrets :) ).
  • Keep 'closed up' until you are able to execute winnable assaults, and remember to keep one eye on the battlefield objectives especially your 'abandoned' Blitz which you should be able to contest with something, even from a significant distance.

On a different note, did you make use of 'scout' in the three Wind Rider formations, and did it cause any issues?
