This will be a very brief report with more a over view rather than turn by turn recount as it was more for me just to play test some of the Siam hann new units and rules to see how they felt.
A few pics from the game.

So this was a pretty brutal game, a Tau victory 5 - 1, all i got was BTS from a lucky shot from a vyper against the Manta as per the phot above, with early elmination of the storm serpents the bikes became far less effective having to cross the field against so much fire power, a lot of errors made by me i think in army selection, Some in part to wanting to test the units. Over all i feel the game could have gone my way given better placement of unit and being more aggressive, my lack of anti air hurt a lot with the Tau having bombers and 2 other air options open to them. ( on a side note the Tau bombers seem WAY under costed at 200 points for 4 BP ) As for the changes with in the Siam list itself? The fire prisims with the changed stat lines are utter garbage for the points even with the free exchange, I would never use them again i feel with this rendition of them (side not again, comparing Net EA prisims to UK ones, why can't Net EA have the broken as F*** Uk versions? ) The hornets i feel are costed about on point for what they are, i felt they didn't under perform, nor were they to strong in this game, more testing sure, but based on this experience they were punished pretty hard for being LV's, but it seemed in balance with the power they put out and the smaller formation size they had to suffer. I think SR 4 is spot on. The scout bike formations for 200 points were useful, there probably needs to be some restrictions on the vypers, but in saying that opening them up to the AT fire from a garrisoned position meant they died pretty quickly to the long range AT fire when given if it had been all INF bikes the enemy wouldn't have had a target and they would have been in my opinion more of an annoyance so there is a case to argue for no restrictions as well i think. The 6+ jink save i think saved 3 bikes all game, so in no way did i feel it was over powered in mechanics relation to the game, weather or not people like that or walker for fluff reasons i guess is open for debate, my personal stance is the Jink i just feel it is themey for me. ( again a side note, does that Jink apply to shinning spears? IF not why not as they are part of the riders in the army and would have the same riding experience as the others?) I think the reduced cost of farseers was nice, but ultimately is made no difference to the in game result.
A few other observations, why are the vampire hunter main weapons 30cm and not 45cm? The prisims need look at (a serious look at). Phionexx bombers need addressing( after seeing the 200pt Tau bombers )
Over all i found this list not that much fun to play to be perfectly honest, I like the concept of the Siam hann but i felt the list was not even a threat on board. Could be my lack of experience with it, or poor selection, maybe facing the perfect opposition to it. But all comments in this thread are based on only this games experience.
Cheers
