TURN 1;
No Teleport.
SM Initiative.

* SM Devastators - Sustain - Shoot at RC Blood Slaughterers - 4H, 1BM.
Moridin performs a nothing-but-arse mega save to escape that. PDP really wanted to open by riding himself of this unit. Now its already in his face on turn 1...
* RC Brass Scorpions - Fail Activation, no SC re-roll taken - Move towards SM Devs - 1BM.
Ha! Ha! Dice god abandoned Moridin. He celebrated way to much to be rewarded a second time.
* SM Predator Annihilators - Advance - towards RC Daemon Knights at SE Objective.
OW - (RC Daemon Knights - Overwatch - Shoot at SM Predator Annihilators - 4H, 3K, Broken, withdraw to SM Blitz Objective).
This wasn't dice... this was just a silly move rewarded with a punch in the face.
* RC Chaos Predators - Advance - towards North East forest, Shoot at SM Devastators - 1H, 1K, 2BM.
* SM Reaver Titan - Advance - towards North West forest, Shoot at RC Chaos Predators - 6H, 2K, Broken, withdraw directly towards own table edge.
PDP loves his Reavers.....
* RC Blood Slaughterers - Engage - Charge SM Devastators;
OW - (SM Tactical 1 - Overwatch - Shoot at RC Blood Slaughterers - 1H, 1BM).
ASSLT - RC Blood Slaughterers WIN & Consolidate, No Loss. SM Devastators wiped out.
And..... it begins. Space Marines for the Blood God!
* SM Assault 2 - Advance - Behind hill to south of town.
* RC Noise retinue - Double - Shoot at SM Tactical 1 - 1H, 1K, 2BM.
* SM Predator Destructors - Advance - Swing towards town, shoot at RC Noise retinue - 3H, 2K, 3BM.
* SM Tactical 2 - Engage - Charge RC Noise Retinue;
ASSLT - SM Tactical 2 WIN & Consolidate, 2K, 2BM. RC Noise Retinue, 6K, Broken, withdraw towards own blitz.
* RC Chaos Land Raiders - Double - Move onto hill south of town, shoot at SM Predator Destructors - 1H, 1K, 2BM.
* SM Thunderbolts - Attack Run - Target the RC Beserker Retinue - 2H, 2K, 3BM.
PDP wanted to catch these fella's before they got out of their rhino's.
* RC Hell Talons - Intercept - SM Thunderbolts - 1H, 1K, 2BM.
* SM Assault 1 - Double - South of town behind hill with other Assault formation.
* RC Raptor Cult - Double - Broken ground on hill in vicinity of Land Raiders.
* RC Beserker Retinue - Engage - Charge SM Assault 1;
ASSLT - RC Beserker Retinue WIN & Consolidate, 1K, 1BM. SM Assault 1 wiped out.
END TURN;
* SM Thunderbolts - Disengage - Flaked - 1BM.
* RC Hell Talons - Disengage - No Flak.
* SM Predator Annihilator Rally.
* RC Chaos Predator Rally.
* RC Noise Retinue FAIL to rally.

SM Terminators - Teleport - south of town vicinity SM Assault 2.
RC Terminators - Teleport - SM Blitz.
RC Initiative.

* RC Daemon Knights - Advance - Towards SM Terminators on hill south of town and shoot SM Terminators - 8H, 1K, 2BM.
PDP's turn to roll some b@llsh1t saves this time apparently.
* RC Raptor Cult - Engage - Charge SM Terminators;
ASSLT - SM Terminators WIN & Consolidate, no loss. RC Raptor Cult wiped out. RC Land Raiders, 1BM.
Yep... PDP's dice are surely weighted - somebody check those please!
* SM Terminators - Engage (Commander), call in SM Assault 2 - Charge RC Daemon Knights;
ASSLT - SM Terminator & SM Assault 2 WIN, no loss. RC Daemon Knights wiped out.
This is just kicking a puppy. But as always, PDP was gracious - NOT!
* SM Reaver Titan - Sustain - Shoot at RC Land Raiders - 7H, 3K, broken, withdraw towards objective to south east.
* RC Brass Scorpion - Fail activation, SC re-roll used, Advance - towards the North West forest, north of town, shoot at SM Tactical 2 - 5H, 1K, 2BM.
Town now known as "Town of Smush" since both armies have been "Smushed" into it.
* RC Terminators - Summon 2x Lesser Daemon - Engage - Charge SM Predator Annihilator vicinity of SM Blitz;
ASSLT - RC Terminator WIN & Consolidate, no loss. SM Predator Annihilator wiped out.
* SM Tactical 1 - Sustain - Shoot at RC Blood Slaughterers, 2H, 1BM.
Having watched what this unit can do when it ate 3 formations of Iron Hands several weeks before, PDP had made it his mission to kill it outright.
* SM Tactical 2 - Sustain - Shoot at RC Blood Slaughterers, 1H, 1BM.
Still trying.
* RC Beserker Retinue - Summon 2x Lesser Daemon - Fail activation, no SC re-roll available - Consolidate position in town - 1BM.
* SM Predator Destructor - Sustain - Shoot RC Blood Slaughterers - 1BM, broken, remain in place.
STILL trying.
* SM Thunderbolts - Fail activation, SC re-roll used, CAP - NE Corner of field.
* RC Chaos Predators - Advance - Back to vicinity of the North East Objective, Shoot at SM Tactical 1 - 1H, 1BM.
* RC Hell Talons - Attack Run - Target SM Predator Destructors;
INT - (SM Thunderbolts - CAP - Intercept RC Hell Talons - 1BM).
ATK - SM Predator Destructors - 2H, 2K, broken, withdraw towards RC blitz objective.
END TURN;
* SM Thunderbolts - Disengage - No Flak.
* RC Hell Talons - Disengage - No Flak.
* RC Chaos Noise Retinue Rally.

ASLT - RC Beserker Retinue WIN, 4BM, broken, withdraw back into town. SM Tactical 2, 5K, broken, withdraw next to SM Tactical 1, hiding to the west of North West forest.
* RC Chaos Predators - Advance - towards NE Objective. Shoot at SM Predator Destructors - 2H, 1K, wiped out.
* SM Assault 2 - Engage - Charge RC Beserker Retinue;
ASSLT - SM Assault 2 WIN & Consolidate, no loss. RC Beserker Retinue wiped out (BTS).

VICTORY to RED CORSAIRS.
Red Corsairs 2 (Blitz, T&H). Codex Astartes 1 (BTS).

The 3 Objectives so close together in the middle of the board did exactly what it says on the box - "Draws in most forces".
Moridin tried to play the edges, but in the end had to come in just to find an opponent to fight - where as PDP has never concerned himself with the small bother of objectives. In his eye they only exist to distract your opponent whilst you shoot & charge him, and anytime he doesn't lose 5-0 counts as a victory in his book. So we will be seeing Tactic-El-Blob-O make many more appearances that's for certain.
Was a very funny game, with both sides being teased, rewarded and punished (sometimes in a single action) by the dice gods!
If you have ever been subjected to what we can only describe as the "Moridin's Manky Merkin Grinding Pelvic Celebration Thrust Dance" You would also be hoping for the dice to abandon him now and then as well. What has been seen - can not be unseen!

Thanks for the write up Atch. Was a great fight. Nice and bloody!
