I think any Marine force has a great advantage as Player A, thanks to ATSKNF. I'm not very experienced in Epic yet, but I've found it incredibly hard to hunt down and kill lone stands of Marines as they can just shrug off blast markers, requiring far more effort to finish off than any other force's broken units. I'll be interested to see this played with different forces.

Actually, as I told Greg at game start, I thought player A had a considerable advantage. He wasn't down that many points and repeated use of overwatch should prevent a winning assault by player B. I was wrong obviously, which is yet another example of "mind experiments" being worthless. Always put your hypothesis to a realistic test :- )
Next Tuesday we'll be repeating the scenario with two different armies. Exactly which is unknown.
