Hi folks!

Had another game against my most regular opponent yesterday. We made it a battle of WE:s pittong titans against Knights:

TURN 1: AMTL wins Initiative.

T: sentinels doubles into city
K: artillery sustains on 2nd sentinels killing 1 (2BM)
T: thunderbolts ground attack 2nd artillery formation, killing 1 (2BM)
K: thunderbolts intercept thunderbolts and shot them both down.
T: sentinels holds and breaks
K: artillery sustains on warhounds on right flank for 1BM
T: thunderbolts go on CAP
K: paladins in middle doubles forward to central forest.
T: warhounds on right flank doubles up behind central mountain
K: errants doubles forward on left flank
T: warhounds on left flank doubles and fires on errants, 3DC is made and the formation breaks.
K: paladins advance towards left flank and fires on warhounds, stripping 1 shield (1BM)
T: BTS-reaver doubles into city and fires on paladins for 1 BM
K: BTS-lancers doubles forward into city
T: reaver doubles i to city and fires on lancers for 1DC (2BM)
K: thunderbolts stand down
K; marauders stand down

TURN 2: Knights win initiative

K: paladins behind central forest advances righ next to reaver and fires on it, stripping 2 shields (2BM)
K: BTS- lancers retain (with the help of their SC) and engages the reaver in front of them. With the supporting fire from the paladins they do 3DC on the reaver for no losses and wins the combat.
T: warhounds on left flank advances behind forest and fires on artillery, destroying 2 howitzers (3BM)
T: BTS-reaver retains and advances thru the city. He opens fire on Paladins and does 1 DC (2BM)
K: artillery on right flank sustains on sentinels in city, destroying 2 and breaking the formation.
T: warhounds on right flank advances towards the city and fires on paladins, claiming crossfire to BTS-Reaver, destroying 1 knight (3BM)
K: paladins doubles into city and fires on BTs-reaver, stripping 1 shield (1BM)
T: sentinels doubles backward behind forest
K: artillery on left flank holds and breaks
K: Castellans holds and fires on Broken reaver doing 2DC
K: thunderbolts ground atatcks broken reaver, they get interceptwd bt titan underbolts but jink saves their way to safety.
K: thunderbolts intercept thunderbo,ts and shots 1 down
K: marauders ground atatck broken reaver and blows it to pieces!

END PHASE:

1 Marauder is shot down by reaver flak on it's way out.

Turn 3: Knights win initiative

K: paladins in city sustains on BTS-reaver stripping 2 shields (1BM)
K: lancers retain and engages the BTS-reaver. With the supporting fire from the paladin they win te combat but looses 2 knights to reaver fire.
T: warhounds advance towards city and fires on paladins, killing 2 and breaks the formation.
K: artillery on right flank holds and regroups
T: sentinels marshalls and moves around a little.
K: thunderbolts ground attack warhounds on left flank for 1 BM
T: lone thunderbolt goes on CAP
K: marauder stands down
T: warhounds on left flank engages broken artillery and wipes tem out for no losses.
K: errants advance towards the knight blitz and fires on warhounds for 1BM
K: castellans engages warhounds close to knight blitz. Tey win the combat with the help of the errants. The warhounds stay putthough. 1DC is done to the castellans.
K: thunderbolts stand down

TURN 4: AMTL wins initiative

T: sentinels doubles into city and fires on lancers doing 1DC!
T: warhounds retain and engages the lancers. They wipe out the formation, claiming the BTS objective, foronly the loss of their shields.
K: errants sustain on warhounds in forest by knight blitzfor1BM
K: castellans retains and sustain on the same warhounds, stripping 1 shield and breaking the formation.
T: BTs-reaver advances and fires on paladins, killing 2 and breaking the formation
K: lone paladin doubles and fires on warhounds in centre for 1 BM
T: sentinels on left flank doubles theu forest and fires on broken paladins . 1DC is made due to BM placing.
K: thunderboltsground attacks BTS-reaver for 1DC (2BM). Intercepting thunderbolts shots at them but their armour holds up.
K: artillery sustains on BTs-reaver for 1BMand breaks it.
K: thunderbolts ground attack broken reaver with the help of their SC. Nothing happens
K: lone marauder ground attacks broken reaver and finally destroys it! Te Knights claim the BTs objective.

END PHASE:

Warhounds rallies
Paladins failto rally

1-1 in objectives (BTS for both). Die roll shows 3 and 5 so no 5th round.

Knights win on points with 1825-1662.

My thoughts:

A really close game which had both of us on our toes! Te board setup kinda set te stage for a big showdown in the city which was cool.

The Knights feel great. Really powerfull in engagements but easily hurt when getting attacked. They must be played in a quite aggresive and daring playstyle to be succesfull.

The list feels balanced wi no units being to cheap or too expensive IMO.
