Turn 2 start: Marines win strategy roll Marines: speeders 01 double behind Reaver B and fires on Reaver A dropping a shield Marines: Retain with Raiders 02. They advance and fire on reaver A strips remaining shields and does 1 damage with crossfire AMTL: Reaver A advances and fires on Raiders 02. Scores 9 hits and 4 MW hits wiping out the Raiders Marines: Raiders 01 advances, fires on reaver A and does 2 damage. Reaver A breaks toward AMTL Objective 02 with 3DC left. Marines: Retain, speeders 02 ]advances into range of Reaver A and makes a whopping 5 hits. Two make it through leaving Reaver A with 1DC. AMTL: Forge Knights B engage Speeders 01, Speeders force FF, two speeders are hit and killed. One forge knight is hit and killed. Reaver B hits three times in support but all are saved. Turn Three start: Marines win strategy, force AMTL to go first AMTL: Tbolts B stand down Marines: Tbolt B stands down AMTL: Warhound A sustains on speeders 02 wiping them out Marines: Raiders 1 activate and sustain on Warhound B, does one damage breaking the warhound. Warhound B withdraws to the marine blitz AMTL: Forge Knights B hold even with the Legate reroll and move toward marine obj 2 Marines: Dev 01 activate and engage Warhound A, They score three hits stripping shields and doing 2 damage. Warhound A dies and takes one Dev stand with it. Dev 01 consolidates onto Marine Obj 1 AMTL: Reaver 2 advances toward ATL obj 01, fires on raiders 01 killing one.

Scores 4 hits, one goes to shields. Warhound fails 2 saves and is destroyed AMTL: Forge Knights B double with legate help to AMTL Obj 2 and fire on Raiders 01 but don't hit. Marines: Dev 01 sustains on Forge Knights B. 5 hits. one Knight dies and the formation breaks withdraws to cover in ruins nearby AMTL: Reaver B holds and fires on raiders 01, 8 hits but all are saved Marines: Tbolts B strafe broken forge knights, scores 2 hits wiping out the formation
Turn 4 End Phase: everyone rallies
We determined that Reaver B wasn't quite over the centerline giving Marines They Shall not Pass by a hair.
Marines win with BTS & TSNP, AMTL: BTS Had the Reaver been over the centerline AMTL would have "won" the game by 25 points. Overall it was an extremely bloody game.
Thoughts: Again, didn't feel that the PD was too strong. It contributed to killing the Preds, but I'm not really surprised 800 points could wipe out 250 in one go. Forge Knights felt about as they always do but I could accept it with them at 250. I'll post more if I can think of it.
