Yeah, yeah, "Thread Necromancy" Is anyone involved with this still on site? Could we have some information about the various scenery used? I know the huge buildings are made from aquatic plant baskets but what about the crenelations on the palace walls? Are the "traditional" game buildings fixed on bases? Where are the fortifications from-etc,etc? |

Where are the fortifications from-etc,etc? Hi jprp, I made most of the scenario specific scenery – the walls, huge buildings landing pads, etc. for the palace gates and space port boards. Can't speak for the more traditional buildings – but expect many were out of the regular EUK terrain boxes, so mostly placed loose on textured and painted thin boards, a couple of them are glued on to some boards. Of the other bits, almost everything is made from cardboard, polystyrene and other household junk For the palace walls proper, i made the crenelations from polystyrene ceiling tiles, using a wire cutting with a cardboard template: The curtain walls and their crenelations are made entirely from cereal packet (+filler/spackle for damaged sections): The trenches and low-level fortifications were not made by me, and the fancier ones built into the table were already there from the venue. Assorted details of other junk modled elements: junk: painted: |
